BBC2, 8.30pm. Monica is back. Michel is back. Sadly, Greg is also back, but we can't have everything. This is my favourite Masterchef variant, so I am a happy bunny.

I am slightly confused atm too, as I have new magnifying lenses which are stronger than the last ones and everything is bigger (and also a little bit frightening).

IndridCold · 03/12/2013 19:40

Aaah! Thanks for clearing up the mystery of why on earth Greg is on this programme, I just thought he was the world's best freeloader.

I had to record last night's programme so I could fast-forward through Greg, as I have no interest at all in his opinion and I hate him.

That Adam is certainly something else! < salivates >

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 19:55

Oh I wish I had know this Mary Berry thing was on before. I'd have watched it!

herbaceous · 03/12/2013 19:57

I'm not sure Greg does bankroll MC. Though it would explain why such gastronomic superstars as M and M have to cowtow to the jumped-up greengrocer.

My BBC sources told me that Greg had demanded too much money for this series, which is why he's in it less.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:02

Oh please. Adam versus Steven?!

Kiss your ass good bye Steven.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:04

I don't actually see anything in Wiki, which is usually good for this sort of thing, about Greg bringing it back from the dead.

MirandaWest · 03/12/2013 20:12

I used to watch the loyd grossman version. There used to be three contestants and they were very much amateur chefs. I remember once someone didnt finish cooking their meal in time and they showed an empty place setting Sad

Cremolafoam · 03/12/2013 20:17

Sorry I hate this kind of anal cookery and I do not want a tentacle with sea foam snot .
I admire the dedication I spose Wink

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:22

Me too Cremola.

It also is showing me again why I would never cook professionally. It's food. Chill about it!

SconeForAStroll · 03/12/2013 20:23

Adam's dad can be proud. Did you clock those manners? "Mind your legs please"

Cremolafoam · 03/12/2013 20:29

He's a nice boy. But I'm getting Robbie Jackson when he puts on that hat. Grin Sorry I've ruined it now.
Here we go with the wilted foraged items

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:41

I might be wrong about Steven. This might actually be very close.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:42

And I see no Gregg.

Cremolafoam · 03/12/2013 20:42

I was thinking that too Tee. He's upped his game a bit.
I want to roll in Adams pistachio pudding. It's gonna be EPIC

MirandaWest · 03/12/2013 20:42

Stephen is seeming a lot better today

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:43

And it reminded me of the pistachios in my cupboard. Xmas Grin

A 9 week old? Man his wife is nicer than me!

Cremolafoam · 03/12/2013 20:45

How is the 9 month old "supporting" him. Bet his wife is on WWYD boards Grin

flatmum · 03/12/2013 20:47

"I bet your wife hates you" - I love Monica!

I predict a draw

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:48

Not sure about the green cake.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:49

My god, high praise indeed!

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 03/12/2013 20:51

And that just lost Steven a place in the final.

flatmum · 03/12/2013 20:53

I always wonder how they decide the draw who goes against who. If it's not random it's very unfair - Steven would go through if against anyone else. Adam should win it overall I reckon

SconeForAStroll · 03/12/2013 20:54

Are they being judged against each other?

Cremolafoam · 03/12/2013 20:54

I think they're both going through.Grin
