BBC2, 8.30pm. Monica is back. Michel is back. Sadly, Greg is also back, but we can't have everything. This is my favourite Masterchef variant, so I am a happy bunny.

How long till someone makes a potato pannacotta do you think?!

I would love to eat at Le Gavroche. But the rest of my family are of the "no food must touch!" Brigade. This makes me v.sad.

Le Gavroche do a really good value lunchtime set menu, if you really want to go.

Foam looks like cat sick. Not all cat sick looks like foam though, it has to be said.

Do you think pancetta would work for those wee potato cake thingumies Michel made last night? Did he say what temp the oven was at?

No, no temps and no timings! I'm sure pancetta would be fine.

I might miss tonight as my son suddenly realized the Christmas fair was tonight.

Stupid school must have been talking about it all day because he was totally oblivious until today!

Ha ha, I've just remembered - I've been neither here nor there about Monica but last night she said something that made me decide I luffs her. When Greg said about ... Adam, was it? ... "I don't know" and Monica gave one of her looks and said "I know!". Ha!

Cool, now all I need is a plane ticket to London and I'll meet you there Scone!

Oh count me in too. Lunch at michels and dinner at Hestons? - dh would think it was a wild waste of cash.

I am fascinated by the pommes Savoyarde. I don't think i want raisins in it though do you think they are an intrinsic element ?

I am beginning to think Mr Smoke in A Dome is a plant. He's in a whole different league. They love him

He definitely seems to be doing better than the others.

He looks an unlikely winner as the winners usually look as though they've not seen daylight and fresh air for years.
