I'm still stupidly excited about the 'new' Troughton episodes, but just to add to the fun, Watch are showing some seriously classic episodes today from 2pm. Any else watching? And what are you looking forward to as we approach the anniversary episode and beyond?

Yes, I was surprised that McGann regenerated into Young John Hurt rather than Old John Hurt or even Middle-Aged John Hurt.

ItsBiggerOnTheInside · 24/11/2013 10:56

I've always assumed that timelords age. I assumed that William Hartnell started out young and got older.

I also assumed that it was all the accidents and deaths that the Doctor has that short cuts him to the next generation!

After all, River song aged during the regeneration that grew up with Amy and Rory

All the connections in it were great.

Tee2072 · 24/11/2013 11:45

I was wrong, it's not on YouTube. Just iPlayer.

jellybabyanyone · 24/11/2013 11:48

may be on digital spy.

also if you have playback tv, i think you may be able to go to channel 331 and watch but not 100% sure. we have a H-max.

bum. Tardis

Theimpossiblegirl · 24/11/2013 13:57

I got woken up to the theme tune this morning. The DDs had got themselves up and quietly crept downstairs to watch it again before we got up. What a lovely lie-in and all thanks to The Doctor.
:)

DidntBadWolfDragOn · 24/11/2013 14:11

Just watched the 5ish doctors. Fabulous! :)

PaulMcGannsMistress · 24/11/2013 14:21

Golly it's all been wonderful. And on reflection I don't mind that it pissed all over The End of Time, because that was a bit shit. So. Capaldi with his lovely accent, searching for Gallifrey anyone?

MonkeysInTheFog · 24/11/2013 14:25

Jux - I always thought I was the only one who thought River was badly/over acted!

Jux · 24/11/2013 14:27

Just seen the 5ish doctors. Enjoyed the many and varied cameos.

FannyMcNally · 24/11/2013 14:30

Five(ish) was great! I loved the Baker household scrabbling to get out of the front door!

GreenShadowInTheLibrary · 24/11/2013 15:06

I'm loving Five(ish). Brilliant to get Peter Jackson and co involved.

HarrietJonesPrimeMinister · 24/11/2013 15:17

Dh tells me Peter Jackson has worked with Moffat before and is a geek so would have been easy to persuade.

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine · 24/11/2013 15:18

Peter Jackson has publicly offered to direct an episode of Doctor Who if they give him a Dalek as payment, IIRC.
