I'm still stupidly excited about the 'new' Troughton episodes, but just to add to the fun, Watch are showing some seriously classic episodes today from 2pm. Any else watching? And what are you looking forward to as we approach the anniversary episode and beyond?

I quite liked Rose / the Conscience. Thought it was quite good acting on BP's part.

I remember it cost her all her regenerations but I hadn't picked up that they transferred to him.

I don't know, I just think it gets in the way of the storylines.

SeaDevil yes I know that. I'm not saying that she actually sounded that way - but her heritage was welsh. As I said, a tongue in cheek choice.

Don't Weile, I thought it was really tragic, she was a brilliant companion. All the others got annoying in little ways after a while but she actually got better I thought.

I think the Rose thing added something, but the Martha infatuation was just a bit too much.

Had to change my nn back, especially now Gallifrey is back. Though it might not still be in the constellation of Kasterborous!

Loved Donna. It was heart-breaking when she turned back into the Donna she had been before meeting the Dr.

And DT's last episode was the saddest one of all.

penguin, he came along in his tardis when all 13 doctors surrounded Gallifrey with their Tardises and zapped it into a frozen moment in time

Penguin - when all the Drs came to save Gallifrey, the last one said 'and the 13th' or words to that effect, and you just got a glimpse of Peter Capaldi's eyes.

I always feel a bit sorry for Martha. I liked Martha. But Rose, Donna, Amy and now Clara all have some sort of Universal significance - they're in the Doctor's life for some sort of cosmic-ordering reason. Martha was just a tag-along - she seems short-changed to me.
