I'm still stupidly excited about the 'new' Troughton episodes, but just to add to the fun, Watch are showing some seriously classic episodes today from 2pm. Any else watching? And what are you looking forward to as we approach the anniversary episode and beyond?

I quite liked Rose / the Conscience. Thought it was quite good acting on BP's part.

ItsBiggerOnTheInside · 23/11/2013 21:56

I remember it cost her all her regenerations but I hadn't picked up that they transferred to him.

SeaDevilscanPlay · 23/11/2013 21:56

I don't know, I just think it gets in the way of the storylines.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/11/2013 21:56

SeaDevil yes I know that. I'm not saying that she actually sounded that way - but her heritage was welsh. As I said, a tongue in cheek choice.

HowManyDaysUntilChristmas · 23/11/2013 21:57

BBC3 have just done a run through of Doctors in order ...

SeaDevilscanPlay · 23/11/2013 21:57

I'm sorry if this has already been done. We were just watching the new episode about the Doctor they wanted to forget. I said to DP, " but surely that's Sylvester McCoy?

Colin Baker more like. Awful man and awful stories.

ItsBiggerOnTheInside · 23/11/2013 21:57

Seadevil, I think it adds something

GlaikitOfGallifrey · 23/11/2013 21:57

Colin baker is wearing crocs on Bbc3

Pixel · 23/11/2013 21:57

Don't Blush Weile, I thought it was really tragic, she was a brilliant companion. All the others got annoying in little ways after a while but she actually got better I thought.

YerDaftApeth · 23/11/2013 21:58

Oh wow that was brilliant then TOM BAKER I nearly exploded then, his voice oh wow. Tardis

HowManyDaysUntilChristmas · 23/11/2013 21:58

The War Doctor was un-numbered and came before CE, in case anyone missed it. SO you were right

SeaDevilscanPlay · 23/11/2013 21:58

I thought there was a hint of CE in the regeneration.

dementedma · 23/11/2013 21:59

Well, haven't a fecking clue what all that was about.
Ds enjoyed it though

SeaDevilscanPlay · 23/11/2013 22:00

I think the Rose thing added something, but the Martha infatuation was just a bit too much.

Thats why I like Donna, a break from all the fawning.

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 23/11/2013 22:00

Donna was my favourite too Smile

Kasterborous · 23/11/2013 22:00

Had to change my nn back, especially now Gallifrey is back. Though it might not still be in the constellation of Kasterborous! Tardis

PenguinBear · 23/11/2013 22:01

poorbuthappy I didn't see any mention or glimpse of the new Doctor...please explain Grin

LeBearPolar · 23/11/2013 22:01

Loved Donna. It was heart-breaking when she turned back into the Donna she had been before meeting the Dr.

And DT's last episode was the saddest one of all.

letsgotostonehenge · 23/11/2013 22:01

i liked donna but rose and dt was the best love story ever Tardis

ItsBiggerOnTheInside · 23/11/2013 22:03

penguin, he came along in his tardis when all 13 doctors surrounded Gallifrey with their Tardises and zapped it into a frozen moment in time

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/11/2013 22:03

Penguin - when all the Drs came to save Gallifrey, the last one said 'and the 13th' or words to that effect, and you just got a glimpse of Peter Capaldi's eyes.

Hassled · 23/11/2013 22:04

I always feel a bit sorry for Martha. I liked Martha. But Rose, Donna, Amy and now Clara all have some sort of Universal significance - they're in the Doctor's life for some sort of cosmic-ordering reason. Martha was just a tag-along - she seems short-changed to me.

letsgotostonehenge · 23/11/2013 22:04

don't get me started on 'the end of time' best episode ever Tardis Grin

HarrietJonesPrimeMinister · 23/11/2013 22:05

'Til we meet again Sarah' :(

poorbuthappy · 23/11/2013 22:06

I made DH rewind it whilst I jumped up and down on the sofa and squealed!!
