I'm still stupidly excited about the 'new' Troughton episodes, but just to add to the fun, Watch are showing some seriously classic episodes today from 2pm. Any else watching? And what are you looking forward to as we approach the anniversary episode and beyond?

Lucky you QNT.

SnapespeareSong · 22/11/2013 13:12

QNT! Envy

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 22/11/2013 13:13

Sounds brilliant :)

fancyanotherfez · 22/11/2013 13:48

I'm 11. I know it's virtually guaranteed to get me banned from MN, but I luffs him! I nearly cried at the end last night when he came on, partly because it was so sentimental, but partly because he looked so proud to be there Smile Tardis

ItsBiggerOnTheInside · 22/11/2013 16:34

I'm the 8th Doctor!! Smile

LetZygonsbeZygons · 22/11/2013 16:48

OMG!!!!!! Did NOT expect that 'Luke I am your father ' moment (as I call them).

was already on the edge of blubberdom -especially the 'I don't want to go' bit, when (spoiler) Hartnell looked up and saw 11 Shock !!! That was IT !!!! bawled like a baby, as did DC.

And as much as I cant wait for Capaldi I suddenly don't want Matt to go Sad.

that was BRILLIANT. well done, Gattis, you've outdone yourself. David Bradley was awesome as Hartnell wasn't he?

Although I thought Jessica Raine was more a Jaqueline Hill lookalike than the one they used.

and I did not recognise Reece Shearsmith as 2 !

taped it cos it was on late and taped the 1st doc serial on bbc4 after so weve had a fest this afternoon. brilliant stuff. Tardis

HeadfirstThroughTheTimeVortex · 22/11/2013 17:11

I'm so excited about tomorrow Tardis

LetZygonsbeZygons · 22/11/2013 17:17

Head only thing that can top the drama will be tomorrow. lets see......

the more I watch the old docs and old episodes the more I prefer them to the new docs (apart from Matt).

clearer stories, cleverer lines and not too timey wimey wibbly wobbly stuff, simpler sets and not over relying on sfx and cgi, no stupid snogfests every bloody episode, no sexyfied assistants.......

LetZygonsbeZygons · 22/11/2013 17:18

disclaimer- sexy assistants, before someone mentions Leela!!! Tardis

mind you I thought Jamie was sexy with the kilt Grin Tardis

SeaDevilscanPlay · 22/11/2013 17:24

Yes I agree, although they did the other ones hair just right.

It was absolutely brilliant.

MavisKorvarian · 22/11/2013 17:26

Oh god, it's all too exciting! Now then. Does anyone know at what point it will be on the iPlayer? I'm at an event so will miss the actual broadcast Sad so want to be able to see it the second I get home.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 22/11/2013 17:26

Have you seen the GOOGLE homepage???????

its the 11 doctors, and if you click on the middle O of google a dalek comes across, then you click on your preferred doc and see what happens!!!!

SeaDevilscanPlay · 22/11/2013 17:34

I don't know if it works with all shows, but with In The Night Garden Blush you can watch it live as it airs and then its on I player to rewatch straight away, so dont know if its the same.

MavisKorvarian · 22/11/2013 17:39

Ha ha, loving the fact we are taking our iPlayer knowledge from Cebeebies..! I'm anticipating I will end up watching it on my phone in the loos..

LetZygonsbeZygons · 22/11/2013 18:26

Im STILL sniffling at the 'Matt' moment!!!!!

its one of those things that stay with you for a while, isn't it? Tardis

PaulMcGannsMistress · 22/11/2013 18:30

A friend of mine has decided, on the strength of the Matt moment, that she will never watch his regeneration because she loves him too much. Bit of an over reaction if you ask me...

MavisKorvarian · 22/11/2013 18:45

When MS was first announced as The Doctor, I thought he was too young, too baby faced and tbh not DT enough. However he plays old so well and has developed the eccentricities of the character beautifully. I will always love fancy the arse off DT but MS has really made The Doctor his own.

I will be blubbing away by Christmas I think! Tardis

PaulMcGannsMistress · 22/11/2013 18:49

I shall cry because I always cry at regenerations. Well, apart from Colin Baker's.

MavisKorvarian · 22/11/2013 18:50

Poor old Colin Baker! Grin

PaulMcGannsMistress · 22/11/2013 18:52

I know, God love him, great ambassador for the show and all that, lovely guy. But I hated him.

PaulMcGannsMistress · 22/11/2013 18:55

Seen the latest clips? "What's that?" "It's a machine... that goes ding"

Honestly, Tennant delivers the line much better than I do!!

Paul I feel the same as your friend!!!!!

see you tomorrow for THE episode [yay! Tardis

PigletJohn · 22/11/2013 19:05

I am 1 Hmm

Can't see it myself.

MavisKorvarian · 22/11/2013 19:06

I do so love DT - saw him in Richard II at Stratford, wonderful production.. I just think he seems like a really nice bloke. And I really blubbed when he regenerated.

However, am very much looking forward to 12, so really, what's not to like?!

PigletJohn · 22/11/2013 19:10
