I'm still stupidly excited about the 'new' Troughton episodes, but just to add to the fun, Watch are showing some seriously classic episodes today from 2pm. Any else watching? And what are you looking forward to as we approach the anniversary episode and beyond?

Sobbed like the incorrigible fangirl that I am. I had been warned to go into it unspoilered for the delightful stuff at the end. So glad I did, it was wonderful.

It's brilliant My d & I were playing it and she was a bit later leaving for school. I told her I didn't think her teacher would accept "I was playing the Doctor Who Doodle on the Australian Google" as a reasonable excuse for lateness

Replayed An Adventure in Space and Time over and over last night. Loved how it was both a story about the birth of Doctor Who and the end of Hartnell's career, so bittersweet. Still welling up like a child at the thought of that ending, beautiful. Gatiss, you sentimental fool!

Talking about being childish - I did that quiz answering what I thought would get me DT (only way I could ) and got 11.

Number 4 - fine by me! Loved the play last night and found the first episode really gripping, much better than I expected. Going to have to watch it on the iPlayer when we get home Saturday (if it hasn't crashed) but going to Excel on Sunday. V excited...

couldnt get tickets for excel... but might travel over to take some phontographs on sunday - it's relatively (and dimensionally) near . :)

Glad it wasn't just me with tears in my eyes last night. It was so good. Now how do I get away with letting DS2 watch it without him spending the next two weeks saying piss and vinegar?

Having a fab day. Seen the sfx show and watched a panel with Bernard cribbins. As an hugely pregnant got front row seats which was nice. Got some good photos and a video o him singing hole in the ground.
After lunch I've got two panel shows with the older doctors and then after that the Matt smith/current one.
