I'm still stupidly excited about the 'new' Troughton episodes, but just to add to the fun, Watch are showing some seriously classic episodes today from 2pm. Any else watching? And what are you looking forward to as we approach the anniversary episode and beyond?

I burst into tears too. (Silly sod that I am)

MavisKorvarian · 21/11/2013 22:53

snapespeare re 'I don't want to go' - I thought that too. I remember seeing Confidential once where DT was discussing which of three versions of the line to use and it was all so deliberatively manipulative. However, this may be because I gave to remind myself sometimes that it isn't all real.... Grin

PaulMcGannsMistress · 21/11/2013 23:06

Sobbed like the incorrigible fangirl that I am. I had been warned to go into it unspoilered for the delightful stuff at the end. So glad I did, it was wonderful.

FeedMeFeederer · 22/11/2013 06:59

Rusty I saw that on the Guardian website - and the Australian one is live too.

It's brilliant Tardis My d & I were playing it and she was a bit later leaving for school. I told her I didn't think her teacher would accept "I was playing the Doctor Who Doodle on the Australian Google" as a reasonable excuse for lateness Grin

Love the happy Doctors Tardis Grin

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 22/11/2013 07:29

which doctor are you?

I'm the 6th Doctor and its not right :( I'm kind and I didnt even like him very much. waaaaah :(

SnapespeareSong · 22/11/2013 07:34

I'm ten. i don't want to be ten. ten is vain!

QuietNinjaTardis · 22/11/2013 07:48

On my way to the convention right now Tardis
Shall I say hi to the doctors for you all? And I'm getting Bernard cribbins autograph so ill say hi to him too.

MavisKorvarian · 22/11/2013 07:56

I'm One! Must start acknowledging the grumpiness ... Grin

FeedMeFeederer · 22/11/2013 08:02

Envy QuietNinjaTardis Envy

Love Bernard Cribbins as Wilf - wish he'd come back.

TheDoctrineOfWho · 22/11/2013 08:04

I'm the Third!

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 22/11/2013 08:08

Envy QNT. Why on earth arent I there? :( please can you give all the doctors a big sloppy kiss from me. Thank you.

QuietNinjaTardis · 22/11/2013 08:32

I will I I can get close enough! Think Matt smith, Peter Davison, Colin baker, sylvester McCoy and a whole load of classic companions and I think Jenna Louise Coleman and loads if others. I'm excited but also hugely pregnant and knackered already Grin

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 22/11/2013 08:44
Envy

Hopefully they will all give you massive priority. Rub your tummy and look a bit worried if the queue is long Grin

Metebelis3 · 22/11/2013 08:44

QNT I'm going tomorrow and Sunday. My friends there right now (working ;) ) say the queue is huge! Longleat all over again.

PaulMcGannsMistress · 22/11/2013 08:52

Nearly there... Grin one more sleep (if I may be so childish Wink)

Replayed An Adventure in Space and Time over and over last night. Loved how it was both a story about the birth of Doctor Who and the end of Hartnell's career, so bittersweet. Still welling up like a child at the thought of that ending, beautiful. Gatiss, you sentimental fool!

QuietNinjaTardis · 22/11/2013 08:52

Eek. I need a wee so badly! We are 3 min away!

FeedMeFeederer · 22/11/2013 09:04

Talking about being childish - I did that quiz answering what I thought would get me DT (only way I could Grin ) and got 11.
Tardis

Figgygal · 22/11/2013 09:06

There's a convention? How did I miss this?

Missed adventures last night must catch up on I player

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine · 22/11/2013 09:09

I'm One. Mavis and I should get together and embrace the grumpy (actually, that sounds a little more dodgy written down than it did in my head...)

MavisKorvarian · 22/11/2013 09:34

It's alright CakeandWine I shall take that in the spirit in which it was intended although I might grumble about it.. Wink

I have so much stuff to do today, although I suspect I will end up watching lots of Who related stuff online instead. Sometimes a Tardis would be really useful!

QNT - hope you're having a wonderful time, not Envy at all, oh no! Envy

oenophilia · 22/11/2013 09:43

Number 4 - fine by me! Loved the play last night and found the first episode really gripping, much better than I expected. Going to have to watch it on the iPlayer when we get home Saturday (if it hasn't crashed) but going to Excel on Sunday. V excited...

SnapespeareSong · 22/11/2013 10:04

couldnt get tickets for excel... but might travel over to take some phontographs on sunday - it's relatively (and dimensionally) near . :)

TheEyeofHarmony · 22/11/2013 10:07

Glad it wasn't just me with tears in my eyes last night. It was so good. Now how do I get away with letting DS2 watch it without him spending the next two weeks saying piss and vinegar?

TheSilveryPussycat · 22/11/2013 11:29

I am Ten. I am very chuffed. Tardis

QuietNinjaTardis · 22/11/2013 13:02

Having a fab day. Seen the sfx show and watched a panel with Bernard cribbins. As an hugely pregnant got front row seats which was nice. Got some good photos and a video o him singing hole in the ground. Grin
After lunch I've got two panel shows with the older doctors and then after that the Matt smith/current one. Tardis
