I'm still stupidly excited about the 'new' Troughton episodes, but just to add to the fun, Watch are showing some seriously classic episodes today from 2pm. Any else watching? And what are you looking forward to as we approach the anniversary episode and beyond?

Well, if you don't follow the DW forums then that'd be why you didn't know, and it would explain why you missed it. DoG and io9 aren't DW forums after all. :) However the demise of AudioGo has been in actual real broadsheet and similar business news since there were upwards of 50 redundancies and there is clearly going to be a juicy court case. :( Of course DW was far from their only, or even main, product line. It's part of wider narrative of old media companies transforming to new media, and possibly part of a different wider narrative about things like transnational business, accounting standards, internal controls etc. Not often that two major aspects of my life have a venn intersection but in this case they do. :( It's all really sad. But, at least it isn't as sad as it could have been had BF been more impacted than it seems they were.

Of course, it got mrs than a passing mention on the BF forums too. :( Like I said - really really sad. This close to Xmas too.

Squeeeeeeee! Has anyone seen this week's Radio Times? There are 12 different covers, one for each of the Doctors but not Capaldi and the last one seems to be John Hurt. Lots of DW stuff in the new issue. I'm so happy I got Jon Pertwee, my Doctor with Tom Baker. Will anyone try to get all 11?

hate it when mags do different covers. I never get the one I want! Id like either 8th, 3rd, or 11th, or 12th if tjheyre including him.

It frustrates me too - I'm a bit of a completist and so not getting them all feels odd. We've also got enough papery tat in the house as it is and I wouldn't know where to store them.

maybe we can do a swapsies thing like at school! if I end up with my least faves and someone wants to swap then we will .

I'd just settled down to watch something Who related and, like Zygons am a bit that there's nothing on. Do you think there are actually people out there who don't care about Doctor Who???
