This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Welcome to regulars, lurkers and newbies. Please join in, more the merrier Smile

Look into my eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around the eyes, look into the eyes , you're under.

Welcome to the Mill. Here you are able to do impossible things.

  • want a home visit? No problem. A doctor will be at your home/place of work/random field/hospital bed in seconds.
  • have a mystery that needs solving? No problem. Heston and Mrs T will unrrrrrrrrravel it within 26 minutes.
  • bothered by continuity? A click of my fingers will stop you worrying about the minor issues such as where has Jimmi's OCD gone and what happened to Kevin's tattoo.

...3, 2, 1, you're back in the room. Please sign in at Reception.

Grin

I just can't imagine what it must be like with 4 DC Ood. You must have the patience of a saint!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 06/10/2013 23:07

I was never maternal at all, but also had that vague what is the point in life if we don't sort of feeling, so we had a vague agreement when we got married that kids were on the agenda and that two was the magic number. We decided to let nature take it's course, and if nothing happened we wouldn't stress about it, 6 months later and nothing had happened I was suddenly desperate for a baby, especially as all my friends seemed to be having them and I was mid-30s by then. DS came along eventually, then DD and that was that, best decision I ever made Smile.

What is Cloudy?

Raahh · 06/10/2013 23:12

Cloudy with a hint of meatballs

it's a kids film, but it really is very good. There was an mn comp to go to the previews of the sequel at the Treafford centre, which is only a few miles from me, but we are busy that weekend, which is sadSad

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 06/10/2013 23:31

Ah, never heard of it (I don't do children's films if I can possibly avoid them). A freebie is always worth considering however!

Just been browsing janeausten.co.uk, possible the world's most dull forum, hundreds of threads mostly consisting of one post. I was hoping they were all going to be outraged at the forthcoming episodes of Doctors (might check back in a couple of weeks).

MsNobodyAgain · 07/10/2013 05:20

I only like my own kids. Other peoples do my head in. Mind you Ds2 is trying my patience as he is in my bed tonight taking up all the room. I think I've has one hours sleep. Grrrrrr.

And my back hurts Sad

Anyone else struggling to get on active? I'm just getting an ad.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 07/10/2013 08:01

Happy Birthday Ood's DD!

Just clicked on active and went straight there, so no problem here.

Off on the school run and then to the tip now. Oh the excitement of my life!

cinnamongreyhound · 07/10/2013 08:03

Happy birthday OohDoctorDarcy's dd :)

I didn't want any kids until I met dh, had never done anything with them either and now at my job Shock

We love Cloudy with a chance of meatballs in this house, waiting for next Clubcard vouchers so we can go!

OohDoctorDarcy · 07/10/2013 08:14

Found a site stuff thread. Mobile site seems screwed up by a Barclays ad Hmm

AnneEyhtMeyer · 07/10/2013 12:24

As long as you can get on this thread Ood that's all that matters! Grin

Raahh · 07/10/2013 12:50

Phew! By some total fluke my ancient falling-to-pieces car passed it's MOT!Grin.

So I treated dd2 and I to a drink in the Sainbury's cafe, as it didn't end up bankrupting me after allGrin
And my mini-meeting about ds with his teacher went well- he's reasonably bright- but a bit lazy (unless it's maths or ICT), and talks to much. None of which came as a surprise.Smile

I'm just hoping dd1's goes as well. She's been really unhappy since going into year 3 (bullying issues that we thought had been knocked on the head earlylast year.Sad).

So, I am still thinking murderous thoughts, but smiling whilst I doGrin

cinnamongreyhound · 07/10/2013 13:08

Two out of three isn't bad Raahh!

Raahh · 07/10/2013 13:40

I'm probably going to miss this live, which is a shame.

We were a bit spoiled on the WTF scale last week, will this week match up?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 07/10/2013 13:47

Oh that's a shame Raahh.

Oh! Someone needs a home visit! There's a surprise!

curlyclaz13 · 07/10/2013 13:47

cinnamongreyhound · 07/10/2013 13:50

Home visit without being a patient! She's very cheerful :(

AnneEyhtMeyer · 07/10/2013 13:50

Oh my word. That girl has pillows stuck up her clothes. It doesn't look remotely real.

cinnamongreyhound · 07/10/2013 13:51

Looks like the mums a feeder :(

cinnamongreyhound · 07/10/2013 13:52

Nope it doesn't but guess there aren't that many morbidly obese acting teenagers Wink
