Accidentally filled up the last thread without realising.

Have the day off today so can sit and watch the tennis scores update.

We still have Tennis Tennis too.

Phew! i panicked then.

The Louise threads were bonkers Grin

IAmNotLouise · 19/09/2013 11:32

I doubt they're actually real but threads like the Louise threads are why I love Mumsnet. And why I'm glad I'm no longer teaching Grin

Phew, nice new thread! Couldn't sleep last night, and one of the many things running through my mind was to remember to mention the thread was getting full - should have known you lot would have been on to it!

NotLouise (seems odd not writing "Clay"!), I'm sorry to hear you have CFS. I did twig what it was not long after I posted, and was thinking how difficult it must be for you, so debilitating. Hope things aren't too hard for you, you always sound so upbeat in your posts. X

Raahh, your send off into student life sounds, um, interesting? That must have been one hell of a journey, poor you!

Such shite weather here, had the heating on this morning and it's only September. I'm looking forward to Shanghai, but more so to the ATP tour finals (think I mentioned on old thread I have tickets?). I wish there was a way to pick who you could watch though. Still, I suppose whoever we see, they won't be too shabby!

What's the 'Louise' thing about- have I missed something yet again?!

IAmNotLouise · 19/09/2013 15:05

It might have been a bit of an optimistic possible diagnosis on the part of my GP tbf and I'm don't think even she is sure. I suspect most of the fatigue comes from the depression/hypothyroidism/occasional anaemia. I am lucky in that it's not too bad and I am OK as long as I pace myself.

This was the first 'Louise thread. Followed by This one. Pretty obvious troll I think but still funny. Don't google 'fumming' though.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 19/09/2013 17:44

Sounds like you have a lot to deal with Louise, lots of luck to you. And thanks for the links to the Louise threads :)

So it seems Andy is to have minor back surgery then and may be out of action for the rest of the season.

Raahh · 19/09/2013 18:34

Juan- I am very envious of your ATP tickets. Mind you, points wise- only 4 have qualified so farGrin Fed might make it there after all, which had been looking doubtful, especially if there are injuries higher up the rankings. Although, if he does badly there, it must surely make him think about retirement? (He's won it a few times, hasn't he?).

Tennis

And definitely no googling of fumming, Juan !

IAmNotLouise · 19/09/2013 20:05

He has to start thinking about retirement soon surely. For some reason I can't really see him as the sort of player who keeps on playing as he slides down the rankings. I imagine him as the sort of player who wants to go out at the top.

OP posts:
ClayDavis · 19/09/2013 20:29

Right, I'm back.

JuanPotatoTwo · 20/09/2013 15:47

Potato has confirmed he'll play Shanghai and Tokyo - his wrist must be ok, phew.

Nice to have you back Clay, I didn't see you as a Louise! And I won't google fumming. Goes off to google fumming

ClayDavis · 20/09/2013 18:23

My sister is called Louise. But I don't think it suits me.

Tsonga is on court now. Looks like it's going with serve in the first set.

Allez

Allez Tsonga!

Go Del Potato!

ClayDavis · 20/09/2013 18:54

He lost the first set. Come on Tsonga.

Raahh · 21/09/2013 14:29

Aww, Simon is beating Mahut. I like Mahut. After 'that' match against Isner, he always comes across as a proper fighter. And a pretty good doubles player too.

Tsonga and Simon in the final.

Don't know much about Metz- is it a French only thing, or is that just a coincidence?

ClayDavis · 21/09/2013 18:06

Just a coincidence I think. Although 3 of the 4 semi-final players were French.

Hi, I copied and pasted the above list from the MTF forum, just out of interest really. Hope you're all having good weekends.

Raahh · 21/09/2013 19:03

Hi Juan-ok weekend here. Mostly spent trying to buy dd2 birthday presents on a shoesstring. Sad

But homework has been done with no stress (or me) involvedGrin

Tennis
ClayDavis · 21/09/2013 19:25

OK weekend here too. Managed to get hooked on some BBC drama so that's the evening sorted. Cold has gone too.

Glad to hear about the homework, Raahh.

JuanPotatoTwo · 21/09/2013 21:24

Glad homework is done, have that to look forward to tomorrow!

Looks like we're on our own now - will we get brownie points and tennis tickets come the revolution?!

ClayDavis · 21/09/2013 21:29

I bloody hope so.

I might settle for Tennis back though.

Raahh · 21/09/2013 23:59

I have a (totally unfounded Wine fuelled theory re- the demise of the Tennis).

It was still there until Murray announced his surgery. Then- pfft. Because obviously no Murray= noTennis. Hmm

I am probably wrong, but I like a conspiracy theoryGrin
