Starting a new thread as I used up the last two messages on the last one. Also this is my first thread I've ever started! A great subject to start with.

I've finally caught up with this week's. I'd have a massive cull if I could - all the Windyarses and Owen and his family, Tracey and Rob, Todd as it's so obvious where the story is going, Nick and Leanne. Tracey annoys me the most though as she is such and pantomime villian and a terrible actress. There are more but I just can't think of them at the moment

Did she not get her comeuppance with the Becky/push down the stair thing, Lighthouse? But still she carries on the same. Hayley's home truths were good but it's like water off a duck's back.

I keep hoping that Tracy's donated kidney will reject, and we'll see a proper storyline with her.

Deirdre should have left her buried under the rubble when the train crashed many years ago (Not the tram crash)

I can't understand why they bothered to bring her back, they could have brought a new baddie in instead of rehashing loads of the same old rubbish.

There must be something wrong with me. I cry at EVERYTHING (ads, awards shows, just cried at Eastenders when Bianca told Whitney about Carol's breast cancer) and yet haven't mustered up a tear for this.

Okay maybe I shed a little tear at the very end.

They over-egged it for so long that by the time the end came it wasn't sad.

I think I was more upset at her declaration for love for Roy and her valued life than I was at her dying

It really didn't need mouth almighty Carla and Anna at the end, they should have just focused on Roy and Hayley in each others arms.

Didn't feel sad at all. It's just so out of character for Hayley to kill herself. She would never do that, nor would she put Roy through that. She of all people knows that Roy sees things v black and white and suicide would be an easier way out for her but painful for Roy.

They should have let them have their moment. Was moving up until they 2 burst in.

Why does Carla think she so entitled to go barging in anytime she feels like it. If someone isn't answering the door maybe it's because they don't want to!

The acting was beautiful, such tender moments, the silence or the music in the background... the Carla the cow barges in!? Ruined. Thanks corrie. Been egging this for months, and then you blew it.

Anna was stupid letting her in. Nobody would have done that in RL.

I agree, Carla ruined it.
Up till then I thought Anna was quite believable & moving, knowing there was something but keeping vigil downstairs ,not wanting to intrude.

Yes, Carla totally ruined it. I was also annoyed for Roy as it cut short his time with Hayley & made him face reality sooner than necessary.

What was Hayley supposed to have taken? That was a fast suicide!

Roy is fantastic, I love watching him.
