Starting a new thread as I used up the last two messages on the last one. Also this is my first thread I've ever started! A great subject to start with.

The only reason for a long trial would be to see Norris and Mary knitting and eating mint imperials in the public gallery.

Thought tonight's episodes, which i had seriously been looking forward to, were crap!

Poor show, corrie!

Just waiting for the obvious get together of Stella & Dev .

I was disappointed, I'd have preferred if Dev had burst into the bistro and revealed all to everyone in one go.

Tonight's episode were missing the Big Reveal. It lost its impact as everyone found out one by one. I'm glad Karl is gone though.

To be fair, it was Dev's best ever acting - he did a brilliant job of lying face down on the floor.

Yes, why couldn't Dev or Jason or anyone caught him running off trying to escape? A real cop out just giving himself up. And Dev still doesn't know that he pulled the plug on Sunita.

Karl told st Ella that he murdered sunita in the hospital so I should think dev will find out from her.

I thought dev was going to drive Karl to the police station when he offered them a lift from the registry office.

Oh dear ! I was really looking forward to it .

Hayley is great though and it should be fun if Roy learns to drive.

I think Dev did quite well and his acting may have had a ring of Stanislavsky's method technique about it :).

The actor was trying hard I felt, maybe he had read these boards.

The denim jacket was an affront though (autocorrect tried to change that to demon jacket )

at least Dev had ditched his Columbo style mac though

I thought Dev's acting was quite good generally last night. He didn't over act as much as he normally does when he was emotional.

I wasnt crazy about the episodes, thought the fight in the rovers was laughable.

But am just glad its all over now, but really don't want Dev and St Ella to get together. No no nooooo!

I didn't like Beth when she first came in - and still don't like Siobhan - but she was amazing when Craig was missing and is lovely with Kirky so yes, get the confetti out.

Since one main character is leaving no one needs to fear a certain pairing.

I wonder if St Ella's beehive was a nod to when she was in The Wilsations?

I had to laugh when Dev was barely conscious with blood oozing from his head, and yet he managed to text - with punctuation! ;('help me, rovers'). Who would think of putting a comma at a time like that!!

Thought the offer of a lift back was a let-down - I really expected a big dramatic scene where he drove them to the middle of nowhere and did the big reveal with them locked in the car.

Only watching Friday now. If you knew someone had killed your wife and indirectly killed someone else and had blackmailed a kid about it, why would you go and lock yourself in an empty pub with them and tell them you know what they did?

Also he could have said it in the registry office, surely Karl and St Ella weren't actually married yet if they hadn't signed the registry. Doesn't make any sense.

I agree Nugget its was far too dramatic and wasn't anywhere near good enough. It should have been in front of a room full of people to huge gasps, with Norris clutching his imaginary pearls

I hope not Blatant, my vomit meter only goes so high and then it erupts. What is the point of Sally and Tim, they are dreadful together and Sophie carries on like an right nag, jesus, get a life girl.

I want to see Roy learning to drive, it would be funny and the show needs to lighten up for a while before Hayley goes.

Brilliant! Hayley is going to teach Roy to drive.
