FINALLY someone has acknowledged that London is only two hours on the train from Manchester and not really that far away. Usually they act like someone's moved to the moll when they go there.

Also is this Michelle and Steve thing ridiculous or what? Surely you don't just demand someone has a vasectomy without having a discussion about whether or not you want more children? Especially since they don't seem to have ever discussed the issue of children before considering they're both quite young and have been together for ages and don't have any children together.

Michelle has always been a one dimensional harridan. Only now she does it stood behind the bar, arms crossed and rolling her eyes constantly.

I'm really sick of Michelle. She is embarrassing and dictatorial. All she does is moan. She seems to have no friends and doesn't do anything apart from hang around the rovers. boring.

I used to quite like Michelle I think it's only since she got back with Steve that they've made her one dimensional and naggy and completely unbelievable!

Well I don't know the outcome of the storyline so don't know what happens with Marcus and Maria.

I've seen the storyline about Marcus too. I suppose it's pretty obvious when you think about it. Is Tyrone running the garage single-handed? If so I'm surprised he's going to shut it in order to go to Lichfield with Kirk to get strawberries.

I thought the same thing eddie. He doesn't seem that stressed considering all his co workers have scarpered!

Did Tyrone actually go through with selling his bit of the garage to Kevin or were him and Fiz caught before they completed it?

Just catching up on yesterday's and they did make me laugh with this:

Audrey: Deirdre's coming into the salon tomorrow for a quick touch-up. She said she's gonna bring all her photos from Canada, I believe there are hundreds of them!

Carla: me and Peter have sat through that, you're in for a right treat.

Audrey: ooh that bad?

Carla: mmm pictures of people I don't know and places I've not been to! It's gripping int it peter?

Peter: oh! gripping yeah >knowing nod<

Really laughed, it resonates so closely with real life - I sit through this with my parents and then my grandad EVERY YEAR!

They can't have much work, can they? People don't drive their cars (unless something bad is going to happen, like running someone over), they live on the street where they work and socialise.

Rita and Audrey are the only ones with cars though. Oh and Roy and Hayley.

I think they took the scene in the strawberry shop too far, should have just ended it when Fiz found the strawberries.

As for Michelle - there's no chemistry with Steve at all. She's gone from managing the factory with best mate Carla and her own flat to effectively being a barmaid for and lodging with Liz, back where she started, no wonder she looks grumpy.

Maybe they have the maintenance contract for Streetcars too? They have a whole fleet of 2 cars.

Nick has a car too, I remember him driving to the park to look for David and Max the time that David had the epileptic fit and Max phoned Nick to help them. That's the only time I've ever seen it though! And Carla used to have a car cod remember she knocked Stella down when she was drunk. Again only used as a plot device. Dunno if she still has it though or did she lose the licence.

And Tyrone must have a car cos him and Fiz ran away in it. It was green. And they took Roy t'Freshcos in it on Friday.
