Starting a new thread as I used up the last two messages on the last one. Also this is my first thread I've ever started! A great subject to start with.

I ought to feel sorry for Faye, but I don't. She's had a difficult life: being adopted quite late, no contact with birth mother, unreliable birth father, horrible Owen as 'stepfather', disappearance of original stepfather.

Peter, didn't take much for him to distracted did it? one eyelash flutter from the oompa loompa and it's "sure i'll go for a drink with you and be all sympathetic about your boyfriend troubles! Nothing else to do!". You really realise how orange she is when she stands next to Fiz.

Poor poor simon! That was awful. I usually watch corrie with the dcs but im glad theyre not here to see that as i think theyd have found it a bit upsetting. Poor simon.

What punishment should faye and grace have? What will it take to sort faye out- apart from booting graces ass off the street

The Simon story was really disturbing,not sure what the outcome will be for the bullies.

Oooh that one did actually pull on my heart strings - poor Simon. I remember only too well the humiliation of being forced to do things against your will at the hands of other children his talk with Peter made me well up. Children can be such cruel creatures, but it's not usually portrayed so to such a nasty level on TV - well done Corrie scriptwriters, that was well done I thought..

Anna will as per usual do absolutely fuck all about the situation and keep backing Faye up, despite the fact she at the very least very much suspects that her and grace are bullying simon, throwing stones at mary's van, etc...
It matters to her far more that Faye likes her than what is actually right. So she'll just go on pandering to her rather than try and discipline her and have Faye say stuff like "i hate you, you're not my real mum anyway, i want to go back and live with dad, ....."

I'm really hoping that this will lead to Anna deciding that she can't cope with Faye and sending her back.

That was sad, poor Simon. Anna is totally out of her depth isn't she?

Why did Tracey have to have Amy while Steve was at his class? She lives with him half the week and while he's working Tracey doesn't need to take her then, presumably she's in the pub being cared for by her Gran and Michelle. What was different about those few hours?

Also why would Tracey give her house keys to Grace and Fay seeing as she is only a few paces away from her front door and could easily have nipped out for a few seconds to get the dog?

Must spend less time thinking about these contrived situations....

I think they're handling the cyber-bullying thing well, showing the seriousness of it by getting the police involved. Faye did look genuinely scared at the end of tonight's. Leanne was surprisingly absent though, wasnt she - she would normally have stormed round to Anna's with that video evidence.

There wasn't room in the programme for two screechers, theliverpoolone.

I can see where they're going with the Tina/Peter thing he had that smiley look about him at the end there but it's not really ringing true.

Think the cyber bullying storyline has been well written the way the video has come out etc but it seemed really odd that Leanne wasn't in last nights episodes agree with theliverpoolone. She would have sorted Anna out too

I also noticed that creepy, 'drooling' look he did after tina aswell pegfreak. And no, its not believable. Tina wouldnt go for peter in a million years.

this bullying has been the best storyline in ages - and in anti-bullying week too! Little Simon is a star actor!

I didnt realise it was anti bullying week. Did corrie have a helpline number at the end of the show?

Also thought the bullying storyline is really well done. They are all really good actors too, poor little Simon Id be heartbroken and furious if that happened to my ds.

I reeeeeally dont want Peter to have an affair esp with Tango Tina. I love Carla and want to see how she looks on her wedding day, which is only a couple of weeks so hopefully the affair wont be suspected yet.

Holly City which I've never seen is after coming on after Eastenders - Karl's jail sentence seems to be CEO of Holby!

Yeah don't buy Tina and Peter at all. I think he's attractive but she'd never go for him. Do you think it's a cobbled together storyline to replace whatever her original exit storyline involving Tommeh was or was this the plan all along??

Probably the emergency rewrite nuggets its so crap i really hope it wasnt the original storyline.

The Peter storyline just doesn't ring true, I hope it isn't leading to more On/Off with Leanne, I quite like her, and I'd like to see her and Nick make a go of things.
