I love that Jesse lives, and that he got to kill todd.

and that Walt took a bullet for him.

Fantastic.

I suspect the missing $80m is going to show up in Better Call Saul.

Hope Jesse finds some happiness at last.

Loved the blue glow around Walt as he died - and I loved that he admitted to Skylar that, really, he'd done it all for himself.

Will miss this show more than I can say :(

I thought Walts car was wrecked from the amount of bullets that came flying out if it, and Jesse went to a different car? Plus didn't Walt give everything to Gretchen and Elliot? Or have I missed something?

Can't blame you winter, it was a corker!
I've got to watch it from series 2 with DP. He sorely regrets not believing me how good it is when I told him months ago and wants to catch up now!

if you are right, jesse couldn't have driven off in walts car. if jesse wasn't in the loop/after by the police as only hanks mrs knew he was involved, then he can go back to his home and his own money i would have thought? it would be fb' if skinny p/jesse/badger could be in sault's spin off. i LOVED it when bloody badger and skinny pete jumped into walt's car and then hand in the lazer pens. a true moment of utter genius :0)

I was so happy to say goodbye to Badger and skinny Pete.

Loved them.

jesse drove off in some other car.

Walt didn't have any money left, he spent it on the gun and ammo.

Jesse becomes a carpenter, according to the foreshadowing in my opinion.

genius :)

I presume the car Jesse drove off in was Todd's (seeing as he took some keys out of his pocket to unlock his chains).

Loved it...jesse is going straight to Brock surely?
I think the carpenter vision was just a vision of how different his life and so by extension any of our lives(Walt/Mike etc) could have been if he had made different choices- somewhere in the first season Jesse talks of he always wanted to be a carpenter when Walt asks him......so just underlining how much you give up by making bad choices which of course anything where you are screwing people over and it is illegal...ie drugs......is one of the worst choices a human can make for their life, leaving out the murders that went down too.

Amazing writing- even though Walt deserves no sympathy, we are sympathetic to him to the end.
Shakesperean the whole show and sublime and the best thing on tv since Sopranoes- I would say the two are equally amazing.
So sad it is over.

In Jesse's Narcotics Anonymous group he said making that wooden box was the proudest moment of his life, so he was looking back to it as a positive memory. I hope Jesse does help Brock, though the boy could be in adoptive services by that time.

Maybe we'll catch up with him again on Saul's show, though actually I hope not. It would be nicer to think he just goes off to live a quiet lawful life!

I read that the Saul spin off is a prequel, so Jesse wouldn't be in it, but there would be scope for Gus to be.

I loved the scene where he tells them he's hired the best hit men in the west and then you see them get in the car Grin

Wow what an ending! Amazing writing. Gutted its all over! RIP Walt!

Ooh Totem maybe we'll see more Mike too? Smile

I've never had an older man crush in my life, and now I have a much-older man crush - sticky out ears and all!

Sticky out ears Gatorade? I hope you don't mean Elliot?!

What a great ending. Very satisfying especially using badger and SP, also Jesse getting to kill the loathsome Todd. Touching farewells to Skyler and Jesse, a look was as much as we were going to get.

Report
GatoradeMeBitch · 30/09/2013 22:17

No! Mike had sticky out ears, at the tops anyway.

I love the show and think the final episode was just right. I'm now watching 'Talking Bad' on Netflix because I'm not ready to let go just yet!

Cooroo · 30/09/2013 22:24

Lol Gator I knew who you meant really. A bit torn between the ridiculously old and the indecently young here.

Brilliant episode, shame it's all over.

Skinny Pete and Badger - utter genius!

The machine gun from the boot was awesome, was not expecting that at all.

It's been noted that the episode title, "Felina" is an anagram of "finale". But it's also the name of the girl in the Marty Robbins song "El Paso" that plays when Walter gets the car started.

The song is sung by a cowboy trying to get back to his girl, but he's been shot and is dying in the saddle and he hopes to hang on long enough to die in Felina's arms.

Late to this thread as I have spent the last couple of weeks watching all 5 seasons on Netflix (I have a broken heel bone so am pretty much bed-bound!). I have absolutely loved it and like Willcolbert I've turned to Talking Bad because I can't bear to leave the BB world yet.

In fact I'm thinking of just re-watching the whole lot. It is too good to just watch once........

Katy it's also been suggested

Fe (Iron) Li(Lithium) Na(Sodium) ... blood, meth and tears.

Report
KatyTheCleaningLady · 01/10/2013 08:52

Yeah! I don't think Walt used lithium, but it's apparently very commonly used.
