What does the ASAC stand for?

TotemPole · 17/09/2013 19:19

That was Hanks job title

breakingbadaddict · 17/09/2013 19:25

Assistant Special Agent in Charge

BOF · 17/09/2013 19:45

That phone call was absolutely heartbreaking. All of it was.

I loved the comic touch too of Walt rolling the barrel of money past his old trousers- it was poignant too, in its symbolism of Sisyphus pointlessly rolling his boulder to the top of the hill only to have it roll down again and have him start all over again. Walt is rolling his barrel of money over old ground too, the way he always has: every time he thinks he has everything, events conspire against him, and he has to commit ever more heinous acts to protect his efforts.

AlannaPartridge · 17/09/2013 20:19

Loved the music they played at that point too....."Times are getting hard boys". I only have $11m left!

Cybercat · 17/09/2013 20:34

Dammit, I read the spoilers and have caught up on the episode and I still missed the damn trousers, the teddy bear too! I'm jus not observant enough!

BOF · 17/09/2013 21:15

I've had to turn Under The Dome on just to pretend Hank is still with us...

AlannaPartridge · 17/09/2013 21:43

This should make you feel better BOF....how BB should have ended.

(Doesn't really contain any spoilers).

BOF · 17/09/2013 21:53

Hehe- I've seen that. Don't you just love him?

thenightsky · 17/09/2013 23:06

I've had to turn Under The Dome on just to pretend Hank is still with us...

ahahaha... just watched that awful episode and done exactly the same thing. What a relief to see Hank ok again Grin

breakingbadaddict · 18/09/2013 08:03

What's under the dome?

misslaughalot · 18/09/2013 10:42

If youre looking for a happy ending, you might be interested in seeing this picture that Aaron Paul tweeted!

breakingbadaddict · 18/09/2013 11:08

LOL! I saw that, how funny! Have you seen the outtakes on Youtube? It looks like they're all such good friends, its great to see. Aaron Paul is a great fan-friendly actor. I love all his posts on instagram. I hope he goes far, he's been cast in Ridley Scott's new movie hasn't he? The biblical one! Christian Bale is Moses!!

Elsiequadrille · 18/09/2013 11:34

Jesse (the actor) seems lovely in real life. Will look out for him in the Ridley Scott movie

Grin at the happy ending. Wondering how that's going to come about in just two episodes!

Patchouli · 18/09/2013 20:42

Was avoiding looking here til I watched it last night.
Crikey.
I've probably been quiet all day where I've been trying to get my head around BB.

I think the best I'm hoping for is that Walt's getting that big gun to reclaim his money to pass on to his family. And in whatever happens there Jessie is set free and they go their separate ways.
I bet it's not going to be so happy though.
And, I bet there'll be some sort of little twist (like a shot of the ricin let somewhere....or something). Something that'll leave us with something to always wonder about.

I like what the actor who plays Walt Junior said: that "they all end up in a witness protection program - and that's when Malcolm In The Middle kicks in" Grin

I wonder if the lottery ticket with his Tohajilee co-ordinates on will prove to be a winner!

Does he still have it?

AlannaPartridge · 18/09/2013 21:29

I imagine it's still stuck on the fridge.

They are now the coordinates of Hank & Gomie's graves :(

misslaughalot · 18/09/2013 22:15

We saw Walt take the lottery ticket from his wallet when he was telling the bad guys where to come for Jesse in the previous episode. I only remember this because I thought he'd leave it on the fridge and it would be lost in the fire of his house that we saw in the flash forward, meaning he'd lose track of where his fortune was buried, but I was wrong like I have been about everything!

Elsiequadrille · 18/09/2013 22:56

I hope they don't leave us wondering, Patchouli.

fascicle · 19/09/2013 09:43

Walt had my sympathy again when he tried desperately to negotiate for Hank's life. But then telling Jesse about Jane was such an incredibly cruel and malicious thing to do. Wasn't it enough that he was sending Jesse off for probable torture/death etc?

Walt's phone call to Skyler. Even though he's getting her off the hook to some extent, the scenario he paints is still one where she knew about his activities and did nothing. Presumably that still makes her culpable/complicit unless some sort of 'duress' argument can be successfully argued in her defence.

I'm wondering if that spider is going to make a reappearance along with Lydia. Todd is not as stupid as he previously seemed and is shaping up to be more of a sociopath than the rest of the sociopaths.

Cooroo · 19/09/2013 22:53

Alanna thanks for reminding me of when the RV broke down - those were such innocent days, give or take the odd dead dealer. Walt and Jesse were in it together. Now look at them.

Meth Damon? Are you a fan of Jim and A.Ron by any chance? I love their nicknames especially the Uncles of Anarchy.

AlannaPartridge · 19/09/2013 22:58

Think I pinched the "Meth Damon" name from either Digital Spy or the Guardian comments. Totally fits, though Grin

Apparently the last two episodes are 15 minutes longer - so a full hour for us Netflixers.

TotemPole · 21/09/2013 02:12

Take a look at the photos and reviews Grin

StrangerintheNight · 21/09/2013 15:34

Could never work out why Gus had such a full-time, hands-on role in that restaurant. I know he was a perfectionist but what about the other branches that he was presumably neglecting?
