It's a bit soon for me to have an opinion yet, but it looks interesting enough that I'm recording it to watch later with DH...

That Victor really creeps me out. He is evil!

Ooo what happened with Julie?

smokinaces · 23/06/2013 21:55

Mrsdvere you beat me to it - friend of mine has a one year old and a fifteen year old and she's in her thirties so plenty of time for more yet and still wouldn't be old!

Eeeeeew dead cat woman.

SunshineBossaNova · 23/06/2013 22:01

Bleugh I could have done without the final scene.

Victor turned into the stabber to kill annoying neighbour - DH suggested he might somehow be all of the revenants?

girliefriend · 23/06/2013 22:02

oh god the cats are eating her Shock

Think this was the scariest one so far!! Am officially traumatised.

teejwood · 23/06/2013 22:04

Wow - is it just me or was nosey neighbour stabbed in the gut a bit like psycho Serge's victims?!

Also - lots of hints about what is real and what is fantasy? Julie being attacked again by Serge only to be saved by Victor and Serge was never there. Then she lies in his lap like he is the adult and she the child.

Camille playing the made-up, smoking teen.

The cockroach coming out of the plughole when Jerome was trying to smooch with his wife.

Begs the question whether any of it is real.

girliefriend · 23/06/2013 22:05

Mind you dead cat woman will prob be back next week....

Think the town is rotting, how many episodes are in the series?

It does feel like no one can leave as well.

girliefriend · 23/06/2013 22:06

I think they are all dead, everyone!!

teejwood · 23/06/2013 22:06

Oh - and water level rising in the pub while Serge is there - the water in the dam sinks and rises in the village yet again.

Spero · 23/06/2013 22:09

O great, thanks for the cats scene.

teejwood · 23/06/2013 22:12

Julie's terror when seeing Serge from the bus was very well done imho.

LizTerrine · 23/06/2013 22:13

Ooh Sunshine, interesting theory!

Simon, Simon, Simon...so beautiful

Mooster1709 · 23/06/2013 22:20

Maybe victor is a younger Serge? Murdered neighbour looks a lot like same kind of killing as in the underpass...

teejwood · 23/06/2013 22:23

Interesting thing about Mr Costa believing that he and Viviane would not be reunited in death. Either because he thought she would not be there (because of suicide, in the Catholic religion) or because he would not get through the pearly gates (due to being a murderer). But which?

teejwood · 23/06/2013 22:26

The other thing I noticed: Pierre works out of the same building we see in the credits - where the children are playing in the puddle but not in RL. Does that indicate he also is linked to the deaths of children?

smokinaces · 23/06/2013 22:29

Isn't that how cat woman was created? Killed and eaten by her cats before ressurecting... As Michelle pfieffer anyway. And julie was catwoman in fancy dress at the beginning.

Aware I'm making links I shouldn't because I can't find real answers!!!

holstenlips · 23/06/2013 22:30

Im guessing Victor is a baby that nurse Julie lost in her attack . Wild guess .

SunshineBossaNova · 23/06/2013 22:36

I don't think Victor is Julie's dead baby, because noone else has got older since they died, and Julie is a lesbian.

Victor / Serge connection is interesting.

teejwood · 23/06/2013 22:39

Is this going to be about people haunting those responsible for their deaths? Camille kicked up a fuss because of what Lena was doing and distracted the bus driver. Perhaps Viviane died because of Mr Costa? Serge was maybe killed by Toni? Victor - was not killed by Julie - the clothes are too old and he was dead by the time of the bus crash - but maybe he sees her as a channel to help him get to the person involved in his death? Simon - perhaps a different sort of unfinished business?

holstenlips · 23/06/2013 22:40

What was in the bin? Just remembered Lenas room getting trashed last episode too..urgh its all too much I need to google the end!

NoHank · 23/06/2013 22:40

Is no one else thinking Victor ate her? That's what I thought. After all she did ask him if he was hungry Grin

I also thought the dead animal in the bin was some sortof midnight snack of Camille's

No idea about the scar or what Victor is to Julie. But I really don't like Pierre. He is wrong in some way
