I actually put off reading the books for a couple of years due to Dean Koontz not finishing the Snow series. I'm still bitter and weary of getting into trillogies or seriels but the books are so successful I can't imagine them not being finished.

Glad to here I should stick with book 4 that it improves. It's tempting just to skip chapters...

Those not with sky, do you need a lot of computer geekry knowledge in order to watch elsewhere?

I enjoyed AFFC, but then I quite like the Greyjoys and the Martells, so it was quite nice for me!

I find it hard to take the white walkers seriously. I completely ruined the last scene of S2 for DP (diehard GRRM fan who scoffs at me for only getting into the books because of the TV series...I hate fantasy fiction usually) by declaring it 'the Walking Dead on ice'.

I thought the white walkers from the last episode of s2 were ok, but prefered the ones from the pilot, tbh. they looked more ethereal.

I love the Hound. I wish that Sansa had go with him, he may not be pretty, but he would protect her at least.

Isn't Joffrey's wedding before the RW? Really want DD to watch the former with me, she will be so happy. So hard not to spoil when I've read all the books and she's only watched the series.

(I would have guessed that RW happened first but that King's Landing didn't get the news til later)
