Welcome one and all to the fan club of the afternoon soap 'Doctors'.

For any newcomers , explanations as follows:

TBFE: The Bloke From Emmerdale (Ian Kelsey who plays Howard)

SDTP: Saddo Doctors Thread Partakers (which we all think know we are but we love it anyway).

Waterfall cardi: Apparently these are a MN no-no but it's a wardrobe essential to a SDTP.

Gobbyplods: Karen and Rob Hollins, aka 'the only plod in the village'

Beanbags: are now being Freecycled and will be passed on to other lentil weavers.

He does a mean death stare that's for sure...

Well, that was actually very watchable.

And I recognise that old fella that's in it tomorrow but I can't place him what's new

grr. for the second day running I have missed this- but at least today the crappy humax has decided to record it. It didn't yesterday, and iplayer didn't seem to want to work for me probably saving me from a crap episode

I will be stripped of SDTP status if this carries on

Will catch up later after the rigmarole of after-school clubs. I hate Thursdays.

When I finally get in from driving around after my children (about 8pm!), I will watch. Jas is becoming my new object of dislike- I think I hate her even more than Cherry.

I miss Zara

Definitely a better episode today, despite the poor acting from the niece. Asa was not in the least attractive, was he?

Makes - I miss Zara too. Just seeing her in that little bit today made me really hope she has a very short maternity leave.

Jas is annoying, yes, but she is not in the same league as Cherry. Cherry is right up there with Ruth.

Tomorrow is looking very interesting. I may have to tell DD that Cbeebies is broken.

ASA was minging.

Ruth was a bit of a pick n mix for me. Some bits I liked, some made me want to do her harm.

Btw, can I just recommend the film 'Brave'? DD and I loved it, and I am not a kiddy film type but it was great. A lovely last evening together before the return of my boys. :)

I took DD to see Brave, MsN, and we both loved it. It was our "last day out before pre-school" treat. Not as good as Tangled, though, that is my absolute favourite!

I will earmark Tangled for this weekends viewing. :)

DD1 is disney princess obsessed don't tell the feminist section . we loved Tangled. I really want to see 'Brave', because she has curly hair, and dd1 says she looks like me. If i was a Scottish disney character.

The close up the therapist's face made me jump backwards. Definitely a face for horror films.

All that happened yesterday was Daniel saw a therapist and went out on the piss with Jimmi. Cherry slapped Daniel before he went out as he was being horrid to her.
