Which Blackadder is your favourite?

For me it's always been Blackadder II which has just been repeated, but I wish they hadn't all been killed off at the end.

Is that the one with Miranda Richardson and Stephen Fry, that's my favourite series.

Yes II was set in Elizabethan England with Queenie.

I also thought Rowan Atkinson was quite dashing in his tights & codpiece, I find it very hard to equate Edmund Blackadder with Mr Bean (who I just find cringeworthy).

I liked the first one, but I fancy the elizabethan one .

Definitely 2, he's hot :o

But I do like 3 and 4.

Blackadder 2.

Especially the one where Blackadder says 'the path of my life is strewn with cowpats from the devil's own satanic HERD'

But DSs will be forced to sit through Blackadder Goes Forth as an educational exercise one day.

I liked the one with RA the best!

oh GOD I used to love Rik Mayall as Flashheart.

I loved the Queen Elizabeth 1st series the best .

DH went on Mastermind about black adder :-D

I love Black Adder 3, although I do have a certain fondness for the 1sr series. I think I've watched Black Adder 2 too many times to like it in the same way as I do 3. Although the episode with the puritan Aunt and the drinking contest would definitely be my favorite episode.

2 is my favourite.

1 isn't as funny as the others, the last episode of 4 is the best individual episode though, I think.

I loved all 4 series, couldn't identify a favourite, but could quote much of each episode!

I too have seen the second series so often that I can recite every line. Like the foppery of III.

Queenie is one of my all-time favourite telly characters so definitely II.

Other faves are the Dowager Countess of Grantham, Amy Farrah Fowler, Claire Balding (ok a real person, not a character!) etc.
