Which Blackadder is your favourite?

For me it's always been Blackadder II which has just been repeated, but I wish they hadn't all been killed off at the end.

I like III best - I think the one-liners are better. I especially like the politics episode; the scene of filling in Baldrick's MP application form is comic genius.

"'Any history of insanity in the family?' Tell you what, I'll cross out the 'in'... 'Any history of sanity in the family? None whatsoever.'"

Downton Abbey fans will know that Mrs Patmore also played Mrs Pants in Blackadder II, who is very keen on crapping out of the window.

I mean Lesley Nichol, the actress, plays them both, not that I think Mrs Patmore is real. Obviously.
