If you like books with loads and loads of characters who are all in different places then you might like the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. There are loads of them too, they might even keep you occupied til the next SoIaF comes out.

Oh yes I can recommend the wheel of time. It is epic but the final book is out this year so no more waiting! It is more complex and convoluted than game of thrones (so far, I have only read one) but less sex

Much less sex. And less death. But more characters. Shitloads of characters.

Not sure if the 'shitloads of characters' is a good thing! I've only just got to grips with who everyone is in GOT after reading them all for the second time

Just watched series 1 box set in 2 days Loved it!!!!

I unfortunately have virgin not sky however my parents have given me their details so I can watch it via sky go in my iPad problem is it doesn't seem to be on there

Any ideas? If I go in Atlantic website it says I can watch the new series on the app but when I go through it it just shows movies and what is currently in the channels no seeming catch up option.......I really want to cry. No way I can convince dh to swap just for 1 prog........ HELP

Does virgin do pause, rewind, record etc? If you moved to sky I expect you'd get a free sky + box, that might convince your dh

sky is cheaper than virgin though and you get to pick and choose your package!

Joffrey is definitely vile, even more vile in the TV series than the books. Has the TV version embellished melissandre and the shadow as I don't remember it being as detailed as that?

My current favourite is Bronn. He does get some great lines.
