thats Jon right? i've only just finished that for the second time myself, i'm trying to hurry up and finish AFFC so I can start ADWD but I'd forgotten just how big and long AFFC actually is! I'm about a third from the end and I'm just dying to start ADWD!

And yes, bleak is the right word although reading it for the second time it hasn't seemed as long as the first. I'm down to the last 3 or 4 chapters now, if can manage to finish it after work tonight I can start ADWD tomorrow!

At the end of AFFC jaime is talking to the singer and turns out its tom o sevens, can anyone remember where he was before and who he was with? Was he with berics lot or am I way out? I know he popped up before but can't remember where?

I read all 5 books after the first series, and now i have to keep DH on the ball through S2! "Is he dead? What about her? Does Cercei die? I hope she does, evil cow..." etc etc. It's actually rather nice atm but i can see it getting annoying!

I've read all five but seem to have forgotten what happened in book 2 - that was the book I read just after a back operation. Probably can't remember much as I was taking lots of drugs.

I think (as I said earlier) the last couple of books are very bleak. its setting the scene for TWOW. its just going to get worse, before it gets better!

I'm on tenterhooks waiting for book 6, desperate to know what happens with Gendry!

I'm about a third of the way through ADWD right now, reading as we speak, I'm really enjoying it but don't want it to end as god only knows when we'll get the next one :(
