Looks like too late for the epidural

I thought at the time, get going with the epi and now it's too late

I don't get it...do the pain killers (diamorphine/epidural) take all the pain away from child birth?

Oh ffs. They spend hours persuading her to have an epi, putting it in her head, then when she asks they say too late

I felt like a failure having an epidural, but whe I asked the mw said she had them for both of hers... Does it matter what pain relief you have to help you get through it?

There's just no getting away from the negativity about epidurals is there? No matter what anyone says, the undercurrant is that you are somehow a sap...

The epi does yes.

They have 3 pools at LGI and they seem to push their use - I have two friends here who had waterbirths who never intended it... so though I do feel a bit that she was allowed in the water at 2-3cms with meconium, at least I know they use water a lot there for the regular punters!

I was sick from conception to delivery with all 3 pregnancies have 3 boys & 1 girl (but girl was one of the twins so maybe sickness with boys is more common) bu maybe not!!

Reminds me of the hot doctor I had do a VE on me 4 weeks before DD1 was born
