Epidural (if it works) should take away all the pain. Diamorphine/pethidine won't take away the pain, just makes you not care so much.

StarlightDicKenzie · 15/02/2012 21:41

Epi, if works is all that takes pain away.

NotnOtter · 15/02/2012 21:41

x posts Scarlett

Dontgetpithywithme · 15/02/2012 21:41

Yes, I would like an epidural/well you just think about having one...disappears for 2 hours

working9while5 · 15/02/2012 21:41

I'm putting on my birth plan I do not want that stuff!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/02/2012 21:41

My labour was the first time I hadn't puked for 42 weeks. Up til then it was every day all day.

Raahh · 15/02/2012 21:41

I was a bitHmm that having an epi made her a failure. Hope she doesn't say that in a professional capacity...

StarlightDicKenzie · 15/02/2012 21:41

Shouldn't twin mum be up on knees as she asked?

HoneyWithLemon · 15/02/2012 21:41

You know, people forget that it's often a lottery how birth goes. With mine #1 gas and air, popped out in no time #2 wrong postion, got stuck, spinal block, forceps. It's random, a lot of the time.

Dotty342kids · 15/02/2012 21:41

Wish she'd stop making sex noises!!!

whydontwehaveasharpknife · 15/02/2012 21:42

ooh right, thats good then

NotnOtter · 15/02/2012 21:42

twin mum is great very strong

makemineawine · 15/02/2012 21:42

I agree roundtable. I had an epidural and really don't see why these women are making such a big deal of it.

twin dad is shitting bricks! Bless him.

Dotty342kids · 15/02/2012 21:42

But she's a trouper, I'll give her that!

thedogwalker · 15/02/2012 21:42

I don't think people think having an epidural is a cop out I just think people are concerned as the drug passes over to the unborn LO

CaveMum · 15/02/2012 21:42

Blimey, twin mum is hard as nails Shock

NotnOtter · 15/02/2012 21:42

shes a star

scarletforya · 15/02/2012 21:42

little baby come on!

RitaMorgan · 15/02/2012 21:42

Why haven't they got her up on her knees, when that is the position she asked for?

TooManyButtons · 15/02/2012 21:43

I'm 35, I've got a 14 year old, DH has no children so has almost persuaded me to have another...the twin mum is like a scary premonition Grin
