FAS baby?

Sirzy · 06/02/2012 21:10

This story is making me sad already, the poor mother needs so much help let alone what is needed for the baby.

hellhasnofury · 06/02/2012 21:11

Good grief. What an awful situation.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/02/2012 21:11

Yes never. Last week I was a bit dubious about the couple being able to give proper informed consent but these two, particularly the mother, seem unaware of what is going on at all.

She very poorly woman and its very sad but how can she look after a baby?

StarlightDicKenzie · 06/02/2012 21:11

So this baby might have suffered?

oliverreed · 06/02/2012 21:12

Not me.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 06/02/2012 21:12

KalSkirata · 06/02/2012 21:12

StarlightDicKenzie · 06/02/2012 21:13

Dont think I can carry on watching this, these people's lives are so tragic. It makes me feel like I have left such a sheltered life.

ImpatientOne · 06/02/2012 21:14

Hmmm quadbikes that will make all the difference Hmm

StarlightDicKenzie · 06/02/2012 21:14

Obviously drugs too!

lisad123 · 06/02/2012 21:14

he is clearly off his face!!
I want to buy my kids a quad bike! You dont have carpet or a bed but yeah a quad bike is what a baby needs.

Sparklingbrook · 06/02/2012 21:14

I am too shocked to be judgey or anything like that, it's just too sad.

poorbuthappy · 06/02/2012 21:14

Every now and again I think about retraining as a social worker, but this shows be I couldn't do it.
Love dogs but I'm glad it's gone.

AmberLeaf · 06/02/2012 21:14

Both couples from last week and this week are former looked after children.

2 cases are not representative as a whole, but everyone who thinks going into care is a wonderous life needs to take note of that.

It isnt all rosey, especially post 18.

Im not knocking the care system or foster carers at all, my mother was a foster carer for many years so I have some experience of the system.

Just wondered if people realise this?

KalSkirata · 06/02/2012 21:14

just what could help people like this?
