Thought I'd start a new thread because the other one was so big

Anyone else going to be watching?

Apologies for all my random posts... I am about to throw my iPhone out of the window.... Sad

lisad123 · 06/02/2012 21:27

they have to show that they have informed dad and worked with him, he has PR. If it gets to court, they have to show that they have worked with both parents.
He blamed it all on his past, he needs to grow up and accept that he is in control of his own life.

tralalala · 06/02/2012 21:27

kayano - of course not force anyone, just help them get sorted when they are so chaotic.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/02/2012 21:28

He is a very very very sad character

tigerlillyd02 · 06/02/2012 21:28

Both couples from last week and this week are former looked after children

He says he went into care at 14, if I heard correctly. He was beaten between the ages of 4 and 14. I'm sure that did much more damage than the care system did. We failed him by not noticing and removing him from his own parents much sooner.

StarlightDicKenzie · 06/02/2012 21:28

Poor guy. Is there ever any hope for him.

ObviouslyOblivious · 06/02/2012 21:28

Oh please let this turn out well :(

Is this a subconscious advert for Adele btw?

lisad123 · 06/02/2012 21:29

Many times, babies are removed and the first thing they do is go and get pregnant again in the hope of keeping this one :(
There is plenty of support for parents, esepcially about contraception, but much as it would be easier, you cant force them

StarlightDicKenzie · 06/02/2012 21:30

Why is she having a scan now? Just for television?

ImpatientOne · 06/02/2012 21:31

:(

MollieO · 06/02/2012 21:31

I always think Adele=misery.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/02/2012 21:31

He is totally disconnected from mainstream society isnt he?

Its so sad. I know he isnt nice and know he shouldnt be with her or the baby but its still so sad.

tralalala · 06/02/2012 21:31

I personally don't want her to keep her baby. Sad

AmberLeaf · 06/02/2012 21:31

I wasnt saying care damaged him/them.

My point is going into care isnt the cure all some people seem to think it is.

mousymouseafraidofdogs · 06/02/2012 21:31

very clever editing.
social worker seems good. what patience.

hellhasnofury · 06/02/2012 21:31

I suspect he won't get to middle age. He has been badly let down by the system but he has to want to mend the damage done to him.

ObviouslyOblivious · 06/02/2012 21:31

How sad that he couldn't get strength from Marva's strength :(

Kayano · 06/02/2012 21:31

Maybe because she has had a previous OD and has drank and they need to keep an eye on the pregnancy...

MollieO · 06/02/2012 21:31

After what she's put her baby through I would imagine she'd be having regular scans.

lisad123 · 06/02/2012 21:32

might be due to drug and drink, to check on growth and development.
So sad, now his tried to kill himself

Selks · 06/02/2012 21:32

I feel for Shaun. I know he's a nightmare bloke in many ways but I knew before he said that he must have been awfully abused as a child. He's so damaged.

This is what social work is for though......to try to break the cycle.....

So sad.

StarlightDicKenzie · 06/02/2012 21:32

Poor guy. He needs attention. Probably his violence is for attention and OD for attention.

Thank God psychiatrics involved.
