Oh no. Just channel hopping and realised lovely Gareth Malone is doing his 'choir' thing again-and I have missed the first half. I didn't even know it was on.

That was bloody brilliant. When they sang for Gareth I was blubbing, then never really stopped. Encore!

Many tissues used this evening! DD came in from the other room having watched I'm a celebrity and was most concerned to see me in tears! She really couldn't understand why a programme about choir singing had made me cry so much my eyes were red!

What a fab song by Paul Mealor- such a talented composer.

After hearing Sam I don't think I am anywhere near good enough for the MN choir let alone a solo.

Are they going to bring it out as a single? I think it was beautiful, I want to buy it!!!

I would buy it too. It would be good if they did, maybe to raise money for Help the Heroes.

i think they will carry on - search for Military Wives Choir on facebook. People are saying they should release their song as a single.

I would buy the single.

Chris Evans played the song on Radio 2 on my way to work this morning and it set me off again - I would buy it - proceeds to charity...it could be the single to knock the x-factor schmultx off its top spot.

Would make a great Christmas number one.

Just heard it twice on Chris Evans in the car. Luckily I'd just pulled into my drive, or I'd have been driving through the tears.

He said it might be a christmas single.... here's hoping.

What a lovely thread to read, it makes a very rare change to have a whole thread about someone with nobody making nasty remarks and being vile.I love Gareth, i find him very inspiring, i cry at everything he does. He is certainly passionate about his job. All credit to the women, they were superb, especially Sam.

Blubbling already. Took me ages to get VPN up and running so I can watch iPlayer.
