Oh no. Just channel hopping and realised lovely Gareth Malone is doing his 'choir' thing again-and I have missed the first half. I didn't even know it was on. Sad

I just asked mumsnet! Grin Who's up for a solo?

Sparklingbrook · 07/11/2011 21:55

Hides behind the other choir members at the thought of a 'solo'. Grin

Mind you even lovely Gareth would struggle to say something nice about my singing voice.

Kellamity · 07/11/2011 21:57

I can't believe that Redblanket - you just need to believe in yourself! Grin

Just got to love the lady at the front with her baby in a sling! How lovely Smile

watfordmummy · 07/11/2011 21:58

ooh do you think he'd say yes? we could be his first virtual choir

Grockle · 07/11/2011 21:59

I love the inclusion of babies in slings too. Am enjoying this and I thought I'd have had enough of The Choir series.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 07/11/2011 22:00

I think the logistics of a MN choir would be tricky - I could always come in my Kuga though Wink

I'm all set to start singing into my hairdyer again (not done that since my college days!), but I'm pretty sure that I'm never going to be a solo singer!

Lastyearsmodel · 07/11/2011 22:00

Been busy filling up at that performance... Yes, I'm in for the MN choir.

sphil · 07/11/2011 22:03

Me too!

dearprudence · 07/11/2011 22:15

I'm in. I'll sing in the second sopranos, please.

RosalindFranklinsNobelPrize · 07/11/2011 22:16

He's all man. He has begot a baby and everything.

MaryAnnSingleton · 07/11/2011 22:23

I'll join - love Gareth...

GlaikitFizzog · 07/11/2011 22:27

Can I join too!! I luff him in all his wonderous geeky musicalness!

strictlycomedancingdiva · 08/11/2011 00:14

I'd like to be in, but I can't sing Sad, can't believe he spent all this time close to where I live but I didn't see him Sad. I also love Gareth Smile

Sparklingbrook · 08/11/2011 08:56

Just thought. If his wife has a new baby she could be a Mumsnetter and be reading all this. Blush

I love him, and I own a tambourine so I'm practically a pro so I'm in Wink

Sparklingbrook · 08/11/2011 10:04

Envy at Stella having the advantage of being skilled musician.

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 08/11/2011 10:07

I'll join too please! Love singing and lie Gareth.

I had a tear in my eye last night when they sang at the end Smile

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 08/11/2011 10:07

Lie Gareth??

Love Gareth, obv.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 08/11/2011 10:50

Kellamity - any thoughts back from MN yet?

onadifferentplanettoday · 08/11/2011 11:03

Can I join too please? Another one who shed a tear at the end put that dreadful xfactor lot to shame

I loved this programme, I love the way he can get anyone to believe that they are good at something. He has such a natural way about him where he gives the wives (and the children he worked with before) some confidence and purpose. I sobbed may have something in my eye for most of that episode.
