Oh no. Just channel hopping and realised lovely Gareth Malone is doing his 'choir' thing again-and I have missed the first half. I didn't even know it was on.

How can that be true Bossy? People who don't know GM exists?
Good idea though. Maybe entitle it 'Hot Celebrity Gossip' for maximum impact.

Steve Wright played it earlier, & as usual I sang along to about the 3rd line in before dissolving!!
So it's good that it's on the playlist now, we could all bombard our fav DJ's on any station, particularly local ones to hit a wider audience.

ds thought today's cardi looked like something his mum would have given him for Christmas ! Why the pinny if he didn't get to cook ? Do they mix and match the choir members for these occasions

I felt really sorry for him LIZS. The jumper was horrid, and James thingy wasn't wearing a pinny or a hat. Plus orange Patsy didn't have to wear them.

Yes I thought the cardi was particularly homemade looking.....not my thing at all although some ladies here swoon at Gareth in it!!

I think as all the ladies have family commitments, like the rest of us, they farm out the appearances as evenly as they can so they all get a pop. marinemrs who posts on here, said she was hoping to sing in one of the ones nearer Christmas so hopefully we'll get news of that soon!

I like the hooded (poss Boden) woolly pully he wears in the video but not today's.

My CD arrived this afternoon, thank you Amazon, and I have it playing on a continuous loop!

I can usually make it singing till about line 3.....sometimes just the first 3 notes & Sams lovely intro does it..

BB yes, just the intro, Sam's beautiful voice does for me everytime.

I also bought the score, and love it, picking put the notes on the piano and clarinet!

I love Gareth Malone. Such a nice guy. It was so interesting seeing the life of the military families too. Hadn't really thought about how hard it is on them tbh

Was on the bus going down Oxford Street today when I saw a ton of photographers and a lot of women wearing santa hats. Who could they be, I thought to myself.

Then I realised that Gareth Malone himself was smack in the middle of them doing a big lovely smile. It was only the Military Wives Choir.

Oh, I so wanted to get off the bus to gawk at him, but I have had a weird allergic reaction to my make up and my eye is all puffy.

He is just lovely in the flesh. Just lovely.
