I've just seen a segment from the new series on The Culture Show, Brix and Lund are the only characters reprising their roles and there are less episodes than the first series, but according to Sofie Grabol it's on a higher level and more in depth! Cannot wait until next month!!!

Finally caught up as well and it's good :o

aloiseb · 25/11/2011 22:49

It's a good board lulabella except why do you suspect the female police chief? (except on jumper grounds of course - hers look like they came from C & A)

I missed the beginning (pesky "I'm a celeb") so didn't hear the tape, or not since the preview months ago. Did the husband really say "what have I done?" I wonder if he meant making it possible for someone else to have done it, in some way? It would be an odd way for a husband to act, even a nearly-ex, spying on his wife in that pervy way from the garden.

I'm not so sure I suspect the military at all. Maybe Jens' FIL (?that buttoned up colonel ) has a much more personal reason for keeping Jens locked up, and Myg knew about it. And where's his wife, anyhow? What's the betting she turns up under the patio?

["urgghh time for bed" emoticon]

Funtimewincies · 26/11/2011 09:13

Classic 'The Killing'; at this stage anyone (except Lund) could have done it Grin!

PommePoire · 26/11/2011 18:01

Based on the last series, where as others have mentioned, we met the killer right at the start of episode 1, then maybe it is the husband!? Referencing the tape of the call to emergency services "what have I done?" etc.

Bah, TBH I just wanted to post something to justify hanging around the board three hours before the programme Wink

ImperialBlether · 26/11/2011 18:11

I was so tired last weekend that I need to watch episode 2 again. It's more complicated than series 1, isn't it?

By the way, Sarah Lund's boss, Brix - hasn't anyone noticed he looks like Frankenstein?

redroof · 26/11/2011 18:26

Yes Imperial I knew he reminded me of someone!!
Am also hanging around the board Pomme - the excitement's been building all day!

T-2.5 hours :o

I just knew that you'd be here already Grin.

Strictly, Merlin and episode 3 (will save 4 for tomorrow) on the menu tonight. And a bottle of wine. And being nearly a stone lighter than when watching series 1.

On a scale of 1-10, how trollied will I be by 10pm Confused?

I will definitely be needing the whiteboard to keep up this week Hmm.

Funtimewincies · 26/11/2011 18:39

Cross posted with Lula Grin.

Cheers!

PommePoire · 26/11/2011 19:33

Imperial Brix reminds me of the homophobic Colonel in 'American Beauty'

Funtime you, me and Lulabella are not going to be able to follow who is doing over whom in the inevitable cross party political meetings at City Hall, if much more vino is consumed (has been a loooong day chez PommePoire!) We'll need someone to stay sober to explain it all to us tomorrow - any volunteers?

Funtimewincies · 26/11/2011 19:57

Sausage sandwich on plate - check

Wine in glass - check

Still an hour to go - doh!

ImperialBlether · 26/11/2011 20:15

Funny you say that about the wine. It caught up with me in the second episode and I've just watched it again now - couldn't remember a lot of it. Planning to watch one tonight and one tomorrow. (I'm on meds that make me tired, so not a complete wimp!)

Lund has an energy about her that I really like - a mental energy. Her poor mum though, rattling on about Saturday and Lund says, "Why, what's happening on Saturday?" and her mum says in an exasperated voice, "I'm getting married!"

Two minutes later her mum says something about people staying, Lund looks bemused and it's seems family are staying for the wedding. It was clear Lund had forgotten about that already.

teejwood · 26/11/2011 21:28

hello everyone! sorry RL has been getting in the way of mning so am late to the party.

am posting and running without reading the thread so will be back on later but just wanted to say that when i caught up with eps 1 and 2 on iplayer the blond soldier (skogaard?) seemed iffy to me - will watch tonight's offering and come back later to see what everyone else thinks Grin

teejwood · 26/11/2011 21:30

is lund being out-lunded in the "being offhand" stakes by strange?

MelinaM · 26/11/2011 22:05

Evening ladies, settling in for the second instalment of the evening!

popping in quickly and mel i'm with you - am betting her future SF is heading for an allergic reaction, poor man!

teejwood · 26/11/2011 22:30

here we gooo!
Oh no, lund!

teejwood · 26/11/2011 22:31

oh maybe not....

teejwood · 26/11/2011 22:33

asking to be let in for cake, eh, cheeky boy? strange is growing on me Grin

teejwood · 26/11/2011 22:40

right - two things i thought in the eps from last weekend:

  • strange was ex military (now confirmed with the car convo with lund)
  • brix either knew anne or knew something was up with that killing - it was the way he slumped in the car at the crime scene.

anyway - back to ep!

teejwood · 26/11/2011 23:33

pomme am also very Envy of your killing-esque trip to copenhagen! any of the politicians lovely like troels? might consider relocation if so ? better than being stuck with barmy boris and kreepy ken Sad

have to admit I thought poulsen was for the chop in ep 1 ? he reminded me of a certain character in series 1 who tried to run away and ended up dead (I had written that with the actual name and then remembered there are people on here who have not seen series 1, so it would be a spoiler Hmm)

teejwood · 26/11/2011 23:35

mel, stig, funtime and pomme also think sogaard might be a wrong?un!

imp slightly scared I was in your dream (are we taking this too seriously again?!) but au contraire, imho we need to keep thinking series 1 to get the clues Wink

funtime I also thought they expected Thomas to be a rollover and am glad he is not playing ball Grin

Envy at herekitty having seen it already

lula i also wondered if Louise was the nurse the luvverly Jens held hostage and would not be surprised if her dad was in cahoots with someone to keep him banged up.

buuuut at this point i don't have the dad in the frame as the big bad. i think that person was an active soldier rather than a person issuing orders from the top iykwim...

teejwood · 26/11/2011 23:46

could ulrik be "perk" or is it just sogaard?
