I've just seen a segment from the new series on The Culture Show, Brix and Lund are the only characters reprising their roles and there are less episodes than the first series, but according to Sofie Grabol it's on a higher level and more in depth! Cannot wait until next month!!!

Spoiler Alert

And our dear Lund appears to have been promoted!

shelinka · 19/12/2011 05:53

Amanita I don't want to say I told you so but.... I guess I won't be eating my jumper Xmas Smile
How long to wait until TKIII?

AmanitaMuscaria · 19/12/2011 14:21

Dammit shelinka

Xmas Grin

TK3 not on in Denmark until Sept '12, so we won't get it until 2013 I wouldn't think. Xmas Sad

How can we be expected to wait that long?? Xmas Angry

AND her new sidekick has a silly hairdo.

AmanitaMuscaria · 19/12/2011 14:39

Last bit of trivia for you. The actor who plays Brix is 56 years old, and Mikael Birkkjær (Strange) is 53. The Danish air must be good for the skin!

our beloved Sofie speaking English looking all animated and ... shock horror... SMILING!
sfxmum · 19/12/2011 14:41

I think they would be daft to wait a whole year from first airing in Denmark to showing it here, surely just around the same time?

AmanitaMuscaria · 19/12/2011 14:46

Hmm.. TK1 was screened in Denmark in 2007, and TK2 in 2009, so we're 2 years behind as yet. Maybe they'll do it more quickly, but it'll still take a few months to do the subtitles to high standard, I'd think.

Ok very last bit of trivia now. Sofie apparently appears as herself in the episoded of Absolutely Fabulous they filmed this year. How bizarre.

ificouldbeacamera · 20/12/2011 18:59

Just watched the last episode last night, and it's still all whirling round my head. I think I need to watch it all again to try and make sense of it all.

So for someone cleverer than me, did Thomsen (I think that was the name of the female soldier murdered in her boat) know/recognise Strange? Was that why she tried to escape with Jens?

Fwiw, I don't think Jens murdered the child. Wasn't there witness testimony (eek can't remember by whom) of the attacks, who described the family being murdered by one officer)

TarquinGyrfalcon · 20/12/2011 20:05

I don't think Thompson can have recognised him because she wasn't with them in the cillage - she had been left behind with a wounded colleague.

EtInTerraPax · 20/12/2011 20:37

But ificould - Thomsen hadn't been at the village- she'd remained behind with the 3 injured soldiers, hadn't she?

moragbellingham · 21/12/2011 20:51

Was a brilliant epsisode but am still a bit Hmm that Lund could rely on the fact that Strange (an ex-special forces soldier) would not shoot her in the head to finish her off??

rocketupbum · 22/12/2011 19:51

Hi killing fans, i have been series linking this and saving it until the new year as a treat for miserable jan. However i have just realised today that it only recorded 1 episode on sat eve (17th). AARgghhh.
So do I risk it still being on the iplayer in the new year or cancel christmas and have a killing fest?! (wishful thinking smiley)

CrabbyBigbottom · 23/12/2011 13:19

Just treat yourself to the bopx set rocket Xmas Wink

Aishling · 23/12/2011 22:18

Had convinced myself that Strange shot her in the body as he was going to try to make it look like a frenzied attack by Raben... Still can't get my head around the fact that she went there on her own with him, was waiting for Brix and the gang to show up just before he shot her..............

aloiseb · 24/12/2011 01:54

Yes, much more dangerous than a deserted warehouse!

Can't help noticing a pattern emerging through both series.... Hotness of Lund's partner-figure appears to be in direct proportion to the probability of him ending up either a) dead or b) the baddy.

That was such a weird bit when Lund's mum turned up in the airport.....Good that she now realises her daughter's job is not just pen-pushing or knitting sweaters for the police benevolent fund.

aloiseb · 24/12/2011 01:55

Final theory....do you think the bullet-proof jumper was polar pine?

MelinaM · 27/12/2011 15:41

Sarah Lund aka Sofie Grabol made a guest appearance in Ab Fab, was quite funny! Xmas Grin

I feel I'm coming a bit late to the party. I have just finished watching the last episode. WoW! Loved it, tho' I'm not sure I understood all of it.

I just wanted to reply to AmanitaMuscaria. Thank you for posting the clip with Sophie Grabol, but what about Troels !!! Shock The actor looked about 80 years old...and the hair! Not a good look.

CrabbyBigbottom · 07/01/2012 19:05

Grin Midnight - I know! I was never an enormous Troels fan, just found him mildly attractive, but I was really shocked at that clip; he looks a right state. There was another clip I watched of him with another TK actor, talking very spiritly in Danish about something, I'll see if I can find it for you. Wink

CrabbyBigbottom · 07/01/2012 19:31

Ok, so I haven't found it in 10 mins of meandering searching. I did watch Lars Mikkelsen (Troels) get increasingly irritated with a reporter who just kept on and on and on and on about his (very liberal) attitudes to asylum seekers. Grin

You'll just have to search yourself. Wink

CrabbyBigbottom · 07/01/2012 19:31

spiritly = spiritedly. Hmm

MidnightHag · 07/01/2012 20:07

I appreciate the effort, Crabby! Smile

sobenobu · 07/01/2012 20:46

So, Borgen now, are we watching?

MelinaM · 07/01/2012 21:16

Yes, I'm currently tuned in to Borgen! ...and the delightful MeyerWink

OP posts:
MidnightHag · 07/01/2012 21:30

yy!

aloiseb · 14/01/2012 00:27

Did anybody else feel a tiny heartbeat in Episode 2 when Brigitte met that man on the Marble bridge and said in great surprise "Troels!"
Wink
