Most of my tears were shed when Lucy died. But on average i cry at nearly every episode.

Yep - same here. Last week I wiped my eye and managed to get my contact lens stuck in the corner! Damn ER!

Been there done that like Mark Green looking after his Dad dying of cancer, had such a cathartic sob fest. I did not take my Dad on a boat but when he was dying he really wanted some of those blackcurrent and liquirice sweets and I went all over south west London till I found some. I remember it now crying with delight and fearfull of the sadness of what was to come all stuck in traffic on Putney Bridge.

Anyway, can't wait for the DC's to be in bed so I can watch this mornings recorded episode. We are off for a week on Friday and the only thing that worries me is that the Sky box records all the episodes while I am away!!

DS's first laugh was when we were watching ER en famille and DH turned to me and said 'Romano's an ass'.

We have the boxset, just started season 10 of the rewatch. It bears GA hands down.

Tis nearly the end for Mark Green, don't think I can even watch (again). Romano gave Elizabeth such good kind advice in the posh surgeons staff room despite being suck a tosspot, made me feel even the tinyest bit sorry for him when her gets crushed by a helicopter in a few series time.

Heard about Romano's demise, haven't seen it myself. I am looking forward to his arm getting chopped off soon! Seriously thinking about not watching Green die - it was bad enough the first time pre having children - I'll be sobbing buckets now!

I'm loving watching this :o I had already watched quite a few series, I thought I'd watched until series 9 but we are already in serries 8 and I'm sure I have vague recollections of Romano and the helicopter so now I'm not sure...
I watched until they changed the whole waiting room area and the british asian actress started, anyone have any ideas?
Oneof the moments which got me sobbing both times was the one where Chen gives up her baby, where she is sat next to the couple with the baby and the adoptive mother is singing 'Baby Mine'.. I can't even think about that song without welling up now. At least I was pregnant this time round, I had no excuse last time
I had completely forgotten about Mark and Elizabeth spiltting up for a while before he got ill again, it's funny what you remember

I'm with you hop I was in floods of tears last night watching Dr Greene do his last shift. Do you think if I don't watch that episode where they all get the fax this time around he won't die?

Have you noticed though none of them ever seem to work a notice period? Dr Greene went, Benton upped and went because he couldn't get the hours he wanted, Carol Hathaway walked out and went to Doug Ross and never bothered coming back. How great is it just to walk away from a job.

I cried last night watching Marks last shift, how long before the fax i cant remember? I have to say that now hes gone i am starting to loose interest. I think this is round about the time i gave up the first time.

Haven't seen the fax episode yet, but think it's today's episode...

i dont know what programme i have been thinking of and i dont know how this has gotten mixed up in my mind, but for some reason i remembered the fax being read out and then at some point in the episode Green Days "Good Riddence" (time of your life)playing. I am totally confused.

It was very sad, I cried, same as I did first time round. Poor old Dr Greene, glad he made it for the final ever episode.

I know he died already but am dreading the actual episode on monday. So glad i will be home alone to sob my heart out.
I honestly dont know what im gonna do with my life when ER ends lol

Think i will get ds2 off to sleep, get some nice food in and settle back for a good cry

I record the 2pm episode so have the Hawaii one to come on Monday - how will i cope?!!

laft, I record the 2 o clock one too but they show the mondy one coming on Saturday evenings. Flick through the listings and get recording. I've set aside tomorrow evening for my sob fest.

Im watching monday, we can come on MN and sob together
