Well said, Icantbelieveitsnotbitter

icantbelieveimnotbitter · 14/02/2011 21:45

I'm a bit behind. I meant the last delivery Blush

ImFab · 14/02/2011 21:46

I think I had it and asked to go home. Baby was born 13 minutes later.

DillyDaydreaming · 14/02/2011 21:46

The "I'll pay anything if you take this pain away" phase. Bless her - must be close to birthing - I hope so.

splashyy · 14/02/2011 21:46

Sarah, first baby at 16, how old is she?
Do they mention what her boyfriend is in for?

hairymelons · 14/02/2011 21:46

That MW is good

AnathemaDevice · 14/02/2011 21:47

During transition I was arguing with myself- saying 'I can't do it, yes I can!' I think I might have sounded slightly mad.

GetOrfMoiLand · 14/02/2011 21:47

I don't think I had transition - mind you was only and hour and 20 minutes from start to finish.

Megglevache · 14/02/2011 21:47

Yes she seems very nice, I'd be happy if she was looking after me- her or the older lady who retired and said things like " Do you need a poo-poo?" I liked her....

GetOrfMoiLand · 14/02/2011 21:48

I remember though (during pushing) saying 'I am not going to push anymore, it's not fucking working, i'm sick of it'

Next push dd was born.

twirlymum · 14/02/2011 21:48

If he is on remand, it must be something quite serious, unless he has previous.

msrisotto · 14/02/2011 21:49

What does it mean to be on remand?

hairymelons · 14/02/2011 21:49

The MW probably would have encouraged her to manage her without if she was in transition. There a ways though, a flat 'no' when you are panicking is just cruel.

maxpower · 14/02/2011 21:49

I really feel for Sara - having had a vbac myself 2 months ago I know how frightened she must be

drivingmisscrazy · 14/02/2011 21:49

like the midwife who can't believe that babies come out of somewhere so small...lol. And she's so right, it's ridiculous

babybear5 · 14/02/2011 21:49

How do they fit in there Confused mine could probably fit back in there..all 5 of them at once Grin

splashyy · 14/02/2011 21:49

does that mean he didn't get bail? Am completely clueless!

BitOfFun · 14/02/2011 21:49

Really GetOrf? Wow, that is so fast for a first labour. Mine was 2.5 hours, and I thought that was a bit of a record!

maxpower · 14/02/2011 21:50

msrisotto it's when your detained in prison awaiting trial I think

stripeywoollenhat · 14/02/2011 21:50

i tried not pushing, hurt more than pushing.

cfc · 14/02/2011 21:50

Those jeans do nothing for martine mcutcheon (sp?!).

tomhardyismydh · 14/02/2011 21:50

other girl had that panick too. I dont remember that part I remember feeling a bit aggitated at that time, but only because I couldnt work out what the fuck was going on thought I was only 2cm dilated but baby was actually crowning, whilst I was lay on the bed with my legs clenched shut pushing into my bottom. dr recorded it wrong and mw came to examine me to see if i needed cs, as I opened my legs the bloody head almost came then and there.

I remeber the panick once head was out though and thought I would tear If i pushed, arghh.

juneybean · 14/02/2011 21:50

Is remand where they haven't been to court yet so are imprisoned until then?

OP posts:
naturalbaby · 14/02/2011 21:50

what do you mean they stuffed the baby back up?!?

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 14/02/2011 21:51

i think i will have to train as a doula
why does no one say to them once they are ten centimetres that 'the reason you are saying you can't do it/need a caesarean/ want to commit murder/ want to die' (delete as appropriate) is because you are nearly there and this hell is nearly over

each contraction is one nearer
