I was in exactly that position with Ds1. Hypnobirthing and panicked during transition. Had told Dh and midwife not to let me have drugs under any circumstances, so when I panicked they did exactly what her mum did and told me to calm down.

Was the best experience of my life to push him out on my own and I was so grateful they followed my wishes and didn't cave when I hit transition.
