Urgh the vile sofa advert

It seems like quite an old fashioned maternity unit! I could only be tempted onto a bed with the promise of an epidural.

ThatVikRinA22 · 10/01/2011 21:17

(should say i have an aspie, though a way more sociable one!) but many of his pals are classic aspies which ralph is! bless him, baby might be a bit of a shock though...

lalalonglegs · 10/01/2011 21:18

Urgh, the vile Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall

CaveMum · 10/01/2011 21:18

Marking my spot.

Another one ttc #1 here and hoping the programme doesn't scar me for life! Series One just made me cry a lot!

drivingmisscrazy · 10/01/2011 21:18

it's scottish!!

stripeywoollenhatwithbellson · 10/01/2011 21:19

when did you last do a wee wee?! i know she's young, but just... gosh.

headfairy · 10/01/2011 21:20

Ralph might have Aspergers but by god he's sweet!

Heathcliffscathy · 10/01/2011 21:20

ralph just totally redeemed himself.

hockeyforjockeys · 10/01/2011 21:20

He seems so sweet with his gf though, bless

wrigglerstea · 10/01/2011 21:21

Janet looks completely unimpressed every time Ralph opens his mouth.

MrsChemist · 10/01/2011 21:21

lol Grin "are you sure that's not a door?"

OP posts:
wrigglerstea · 10/01/2011 21:21

"Yeah, that's a woman".

ohmeohmy · 10/01/2011 21:21

those midwives are sweet but would drive me nuts, way too twee and don't exactly give the poor girl any options "I'm going to check you and break your waters with this hook"

DO wish they'd get up. Do you think it's the producers just wanting a stationary target?

KangarooCaught · 10/01/2011 21:21

Her lip curls or eyes roll.

drivingmisscrazy · 10/01/2011 21:21

is it a door? is it a woman? Grin nice try

Gleeb · 10/01/2011 21:22

PMSL at "are you sure it's not a door... no, it's a women"

expatinscotland · 10/01/2011 21:22

I love Janet and Ralph!

Gleeb · 10/01/2011 21:22

*womAn

MoonUnitAlpha · 10/01/2011 21:22

There is no way I could have been lying on a bed during contractions, just keeping still to be examined was agony.

Whitethorn · 10/01/2011 21:22

Ralph certainly seems somewhat odd and the poor labouring girl just seems lost,

Love the screaming lady, she's gone into the panic zone, poor thing, its so hard to get out of it. Hope she is somewhere beyond 6cm

AH THE PAIN THE PAIN THE PAIN

Heathcliffscathy · 10/01/2011 21:23

NO ONE should be a midwife without having had a baby.
