Ralph is definitely growing on me! the things he's coming out with are quite amusing, not sure it's helping Janet though she seems to be going along with it all quite well- labour & his comments!

I think the whole point is that Janet IS NOT in labour and they are trying to get her there. And Ralph is trying to be sweet but it really comes across as though he is doing "sweetness by the book" - trying to say what he thinks is the socially "right" thing to say rather while actually rather confused about it all.

Oh how I feel for Steph, she is really in the zone. Think the MW with her is not being 100% helpful...

Janet's mother looks like a woman worried for the future - she's probably right to be. I like Janet though.
