Starts this week in the US but airs here on Tuesday, 5th October 2010 at 10pm on sky 1. Will Olivia make it back from the other side??? Will it be any easier to understand?? Do we really care as long as Peter is featured prominently along with regular cow appearances which I felt were seriously lacking in the second half of season 2 Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/12/2010 12:30

sfxmum · 16/12/2010 12:39

it was a bit of a cliffhanger last time I saw it Olivia had just been found out by Walternate Shock

Anniek · 16/12/2010 13:02

This weeks was creepy Xmas Shock The bit where he "made" her dance...still gives me shivers!!

Loved Olivia's reaction to Peter and "b"olivia though, think Anna Trov and John Noble (Walter) make this show, Josh is just eye candy..oh and of course the cow Xmas Grin

sfxmum · 16/12/2010 13:23

I love John Noble geek that I am watched a lot of his interviews from LOTR

anonacfr · 16/12/2010 14:52

That ballet scene was truly horrific.

I felt so sorry for both Olivia and Peter. It's such an awful situation and I can empathise with both. How could he possibly know though? Bitch Olivia was so clever about using the alternate world thing to explain her differences. Her tattoo was gone, she'd studied Olivia's life... Peter couldn't know. It's awful.

Just saw the episode now while DS is napping and hormonal mess that I am I cried about 4 times- when Peter told Olivia, when she was going round her flat, when Astrid had the talk with her and at the very end when she told Peter she didn't want him.... :( I don't want to wait a whole month to see what happens!!!!

LostGirl · 16/12/2010 15:13

I agree the ballet bit was really freaky. Was anyone disappointed that it has gone back straight away to just a single world episode with a random strange event? I was hoping it was going to stay split between the two.

Was good to see an appearance of Gene to tide us over until the new year though Grin

I didn't mind not seeing the other world for a while. Seeing Olivia so sad, it would have been upsetting to see Bitch-olivia's little smirks on the other side.
By the way kudos to the actress who manages to make one Olivia lovely and the other awful.

I wonder if next week (or next episode I should say) will be the other side though.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/12/2010 13:18

Agree the ballet was creepy

Poor Olivia but fab to see gene :)

Northumberlandlass · 17/12/2010 21:24

I couldn't watch the bit where he went to take out the guy's eyes !

Thought that was bad, until the ballet bit. Fringe never ceases to freak me out, which is why I love it so much.

Poor poor Olivia. Really felt for her with Peter at the end.

Great T.V.

Roll on the New Year.
x

Have a look here: sky1.sky.com/your-favourite-sky1-shows-are-back

Sky have gone back on their word to continue with Fringe from February. We now have to wait until April apparently. No explanation or apology. Angry I thought Sky's big thing was that US show were shown only a few days behind the US airings? So much for that then. I intend to watch by other means .....

I am quite annoyed, as this was one of only 2 or 3 shows I watch on Sky One, most of their output is garbage and constant repeats, so not worth the subscription. I shall cancel sky right away and save myself some money. DH will be delighted!

April...April.... Angry

Why???

Might be because Sky are re lauching themselves again!!!

meridian · 29/01/2011 10:04

I watched the latest ep of Fringe online as I couldn't wait but I'm really annoyed with sky1 as they had Bones but only played the first 5 episodes then it moved to living to restart.

it did make me sad that Fox moved the show around to a friday night which means the possible death nell of the show as it did with Firefly (which is what the named the first friday ep)

NadiaWadia · 29/01/2011 10:56

Yes, some of these TV networks just don't recognise an interesting and well-written programme. Fringe started off (I thought) a run-of-the-mill Sci-Fi show but over time has developed into something complex and fascinating - as good as the X-Files.

I expect that means it'll be cancelled Angry.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/01/2011 12:52

nadia most times fringe steals copies x files stories

but :( and Angry that no cow :( till april

NadiaWadia · 29/01/2011 15:45

and no Peter Sad

phoned up to cancel Sky and they have offered me a free Sky+ HD box with free installation if we agreed to stay for 12 months, so I caved in ......

LostGirl · 08/03/2011 16:19

30th March restart (fingers crossed they don't move it again)
