Starts this week in the US but airs here on Tuesday, 5th October 2010 at 10pm on sky 1. Will Olivia make it back from the other side??? Will it be any easier to understand?? Do we really care as long as Peter is featured prominently along with regular cow appearances which I felt were seriously lacking in the second half of season 2 Grin

Holy shit just watched the last episode. Noooooooo!!!!!!

First off Broyles was so sweet- only fair bearing in mind Olivia has just saved his family.

But the end? Wow. What's Peter going to do indeed...

No it's not but it's not showing in the States this week (Thanksgiving) so we'll have to wait a couple of weeks for the next episode.

must admit i thought that,as mine did the same Xmas Hmm

i yelled at dh but he said he didnt cancel anything - maybe i need to grovel to him if yours did the same .......

but when i checked it was on wednesday on sky 2

also on tonight at 11.40pm on sky 1 for those who missed it tuesday

so watch and we can discuss :)

i just sat through an entire episode not reliesing i had already seen it Blush

i was wondering why peter didnt say anything about what happened in no 7, ie the phone call at the end where peter knows olivia is trapped

i really am blonde Grin

tue was meant to be no 8 entrada but seems usa only played it dec 2 (thur)

It did say it would be back in two weeks after the Olivia trying to escape / Broyles little boy episode. So, no my Sky didn't record anything either.

Walternate is pure Evil, took me a while to realise why they had butchered alternative Broyles...

Think Peter is going to be pulled between Olivia and "b"olivia Xmas Hmm

I don't think Peter is going to be torn after Olivia tells them what happened to her on the other side.
Mind you he looked mightily guilty when she was telling him how he was the only reason she made it.
Did anyone else think Walter was really angry with Peter after it was revealed he'd slept with B-Olivia?

Poor Olivia though- I can't believe they were going to cut her to pieces while she was still alive!!! Thank God lovely Alt-Broyles saved her life.

And I am the only one who shed a little tear when 'Olivia' stepped out of the tank?

Tbh a tad puzzled how a mark in the hand and back via a special gun can make them move universes but hey ho

So now what happens - will they try and go back there

Also wondered why Peter didnt see/sense the glow about fake Olivia - the way Olivia relised that Peter wasn't the real Peter iyswim

Olivia seems to be the only one who experiences the glow- something to do with her ability and the experiments done on her as a child by Walter.
When they went back to the children's home in Florida last season Peter didn't see the glowy objects, only Olivia.

Poor Faux-Broyles. His little boy was so sweet. Interesting that B-Olivia (that's B for BITCH!) looked up at his desk area with a funny expression on her face when F-Astrid mentioned Broyles hadn't come into work. Does she know what's happened? And does she care about Peter a little bit or were the photos in the backpack a parting mind f*ck?

Last season they created a gateway between the universes by creating a triangle using the specific pitches emitted from the tunning forks, but it was huge (remember the bridge), Walternate said in this episode we need to make the area more specific, so they have obviously worked out how to reduce the triangle (2 hands and her back), that's how they transfered her back Xmas Grin

Just caught up with this episode.
Thought it was excellent ! So, pleased Olivia back, but poor Broyles Sad. Can't wait till next week.

Do we have many episodes left in this Series ?

It seems so- this was only episode 8 and there are supposed to be about 20 if this a regular season.
I was expecting them to do the parallel world thing for the whole series I am so glad they didn't.

By the way did anyone else notice that the beginning bit had the graphics flash in both red and blue? It was always all blue for the real world, and all red for the alternate one.

Nice touch I thought.

Great episode. They definitely missed an opportunity not putting a cow in Walternate's harvard lab, even an offstage moo would have sufficed! I think next weeks is the last episode before it takes a mid series winter break... the series link sign has disappeared from my sky planner anyway.
