I started to have a wobble so I ordered the ink and diffusers on Prime Sameday! The flat smells lovely and we printed some family pics and colouring sheets for ds. ❤

Fell headfirst overboard last night and feeling dreadful. I seem to have bitten the inside of my lip as well I'm in a right state.

Gutted that I've basically written today off. I was just starting to feel like I'd turned a corner as well.
Going forwards I think I need to fill my weekends with busy plans to keep me straight. I just can't be trusted with too much free time.

The shopping list is working luckily. Not saving as much as I could be but it does make a difference having stuff to show for our money and dh and ds have spent a really nice morning together whilst I've been cleaning with my new steam cleaner

No whiskey bottles to hide and no full ashtray outside... our dealer texted yesterday and dh replied straight away go say no thank you. He is def making progress too.

Hey guys, so sorry to read you fell off your board lost. Hope you are feeling ok now and not dwelling on it too much. I’ve been off and on my board pretty much for a year now. I think I need to try what you do cleaning... and imagine what I could be buying for kids every time I think about buying it. Plus it’s chrisymas soon so I’ve got a good reason to start saving and stop throwing my money away. It’s 50 for half where I live and I try to stick to that... but then end up getting more or some another night so whatever way you look at it it’s costing me 300-400 a month. That’s like a freaking mortgage (well an interest only one on a small house) but still! Plus every time I do it I’m risking my relationship with a man I love very much. He was a bit suspicious after last time but I’ve managed to lie my way out of it again and everything is ok. I’ve got 4 smiley faces on my calendar now and have spring cleaned my house so feeling pretty good today. Got some friends coming round for drinks on Friday. Two of them don’t do it... one of them does. (But she only will if I do). Both kids are out for the night. It’s a very risky scenario... would love to just have a drink like a normal person but I know ill be ringing everyone I know after a bottle of wine :-( but on the plus side I will have 6 smiley faces before then... and if I go half’s with my friend it won’t be so bad??!! Arghh I’m talking myself into it already and it’s only Tuesday. Need to read the goddam book that’s sat next to my bed unopened still. And I agree about Gordon... watching that nearly had me on the phone to my dealer! Maybe this weeks episode will have harder hitting stuff that will make me think twice. Going away for couple days with kiddies tomorrow... Will be very safe where I am going! Hope you’re ok lost... know exactly how you feel- wish there was an easy answer to it all...

Thanks for your kind words. I'm just getting my mojo back after the weekend madness. Desperately trying to fill this weekend with busy stuff so I'll stay on board. It's harder in the winter...might do Air Hop with the kids (trampoline warehouse thing). That would be Hell with a comedown..

Hello all. Not only am I still on my surfboard, I haven't had a cigarette since Saturday. I'm practically a saint!

Also seen some great deals for days out on Groupon BUT dh has been offered a free one tonight in exchange for helping a mate move house. The guy has no cash but his uncle deals and is going to tick one for his mate to pay off later. Part of me is screaming noooooo but the other part is very keen

I am soooo bored! DS is at a sleepover and I'm behaving as have a busy week at work and could not cope with a comedown. Not even drinking Currently watching Bake Off and trying not to eat the whole contents of the fridge.

Dh once did some tiling for a dealer...payday was extremely messy.

My head hurts. A lot. Mainly from the cheap vodka we stupidly drank from the back of the cupboard tho- I didn't touch much of the stuff in the end. I did have 6 cigs though aaargh. Well done Serial on that front!

Back in the day we would have called for another one on the basis that we'd already saved money etc etc but my bank balance remained intact so I'm v pleased and want to buy some makeup online

Banging head here too cleaning. Seem to have replaced the c&ke with booze. Damn and blast it. Doing so well on the clean front but drinking 2 g&t s ( very large) and half a bottle of wine a night. My poor menopausal head and body can’t cope

I'm stocking up on Elemis and getting back into my baking. Decided to buy the make up in town on Saturday just in case the colours online weren't quite right

Meeting some friends on Friday... a couple of whom are notoriously badly behaved on the weekends... #dangerzone

Still no fags here. Still on the board. Still worrying about a Friday night. Got a big night planned and I will be with friends who use. I might cancel, but I don't want to.

I think you both need a Friday night game plan and possibly a mantra to help you stay afloat.
