I'm trying to mentally block it all out but some edited highlights include:

Misjudging a step in the pub and falling over quite early in the evening,
The usual terrible dancing plus an impromptu stand up comedy routine at the bar. Wtf?
Laughing at my own jokes,
And taking my neighbours round a bottle of wine and launching into a speech on how wonderful they are (I barely know them).
Oh God. Cringe I'm such an idiot.

Happy Christmas everyone. I'm out of the country with no supplies except for the old booze.

Behaving myself here, been busy visiting relatives all day and just tucking into the wine. Haven't wrapped DS's presents yet , bette get cracking before I'm too pissed.

It's me, with a slight NC. Well, after daily use for far too long, I cleared my (very caustic) supply on Xmas Eve. Found a rogue line Xmas morning , but.............I am clean.
No source, no supply, no incentive to find one.
After months of stupidly using as a crutch, I am through the worst. I'm not craving the inevitable destruction of my nose. I have had a few drinks, but otherwise I'm good. I am done with that crap.

Yes, NYE approaches. I'm staying away from temptation. Staying home, where it's safe.

My nose is delighted. I am no longer throwing money into a pit, then blankly gazing as it fries.

If I can do this, anyone can.

And, may I state, due to my Xmas bonus, I could have bought a fair bit.
Reader, I paid it off my credit card.
And as I have no source that will take Visa, I think that's a significant step. I can't get it 'on tick' anywhere.

Happy to be on my board for this long. It has been months of crap decisions.
I am going through the sweet hell of night sweats. Still can't sleep for long. However, this is not worse than before. It is just different.

My head is more clear during the day. The night is unpleasant, but the only was is up.

I needed to enforce this upon myself to start feeling any benefits. I do feel some already - especially looking at the financial side.

NYE - bring it on! I will drink, but I won't feel like my nose belongs in a parallel universe!

Another way to keep on the straight and narrow is to get Flu. That's what I've had since Boxing Day, throat feels like I've swallowed razor blades. It's vile! Cant eat, drink, smoke or inhale anything! Might possible be better by NYE to sip a small sherry Hope everyone else is doing ok x
