Morning all
Still on board here. Had a few too many drinks but managed to stick to lager so not suffering too badly. I actually activated my Off Switch last night and went home.

Got irrationally irritated by a group near us in the pub that had obviously had chemical help. They were far too energetic and chatty. Wankers! wasn't jealous at all

Hope your search for a cake whisk was successful Cleaning At least it kept you distracted.

Weirdly I didn't crave last night... Hope the same will be true tonight

Dh put a load in before I even got home from work yesterday and I was like Maybe this is finally our new start.

I ordered a whisk and also came across this thing called a splatter guard that stops the flour or icing sugar from going absolutely everywhere and making my kitchen look like a flipping coke den

I find not buying coke also prevents your kitchen from looking like a coke den. #top tip

Just popped in to say hi. I'm keeping a low profile at the moment and trying to behave. Apart from work drinks in week (where I didn't end up in A&E) I haven't been drinking and feels great to wake up at weekend clearheaded. Ponz you have brilliantly and you haven't fallen off yet. Could you cancel it? Balls of steel if you do. And I know what you mean sometimes I get the horrors about getting the horrors before I've even done anything! Happy Sunday all x

I find after a while off it, I start to fantasise about how great it feels to be high, all the bad stuff forgotten. It never lives up to those expectations!
Bear in my mind that your tolerance will be much lower after all this time, don't over do it x
You have a week cooling off period anyhow. Until this thread I never knew we all had such varied ways of picking up.

Well dh and I are quite open-minded. Ha ha Ha! I knew what you meant.

I've done the bathrooms and two lots of laundry. It's positively shocking to have this much energy. Need to bottle this feeling and drink it somehow when I'm craving

Skin is def clearer esp since I often smoke a lot when I'm on it. Teeth look whiter too. Bought lots of fruit and veg yesterday as I do want to lose some weight before Xmas party season. The gear never really suppressed my appetite. And then the next day is be tired and stuff my face with crap so if anything I'm lighter off it which is unusual.

Have a stressful week ahead at work so I'm trying to stay focussed on my current positivity.

Tbh it affects dh a lot more than i had realised... it crept up on us I guess. He's so chirpy and laughing a lot with ds these days.

When we had our long talk, ds came up a lot and I think that affected us both.

Onwards and upwards 💪

I suppose we'll all face a few more parties as Christmas approaches, although my work do is sounding like quite a sober affair. Christmas lunch at our local Beefeater.
