Good tip dusty am hoping I won't need it as I am really feeling motivated. Did a dodgy 'pill' on hols and lost mind for several hours. Felt rank beyond belief for three days and still feeling sick/ dizzy/ exhausted/ slightly unhinged and scared. Go knows what heinous chemical from a Chinese lab was in there but Jesus it has put me off drugs for now anyway.

Strangely I never get the runny nose, just awful throbbing sinuses the next day that turns into a terrible headache behind my eyes.

Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday in a fairly sensible fashion. The weather's been amazing here. I'm very tired and a bit burnt after a day out with the kids.

Apart from (because of?) my Friday night debacle, I've been surfing the rest of this weekend. Feeling a bit flat and meh now but going with it.

Hi Ponz Glad you're starting to feel better. That sounds like a horrible experience for you. Years ago I took what I thought was Ecstacy and it was Ketamine. I hated it, falling into a K-hole wasn't pleasant especially as I wasn't expecting it and didn't really know what was going on.

Big hug for you I think we all know we take a gamble with our health taking drugs but I know I'm completely in denial. Having a scare like that is a horrible reality check.

Oh Ponz, that sounds really scary, hope you're feeling better soon. Not quite the same but I once did far too much coke and mdma at once and felt awful for about a week. Lots of water and orange juice seemed to help.

Feeling a bit Meh here too. Went slightly overboard with Mr Rehab last night. Dusty's nasal tips wouldn't have helped as was smoking it not snorting, classy! Not feeling too bad today but really need to address my drinking, have been caning too much lately.

Work tomorrow eww and don't get me started about school, DS currently getting out of bed at midday. Next week will be hell!

My teens are rolling about of bed at lunchtime too Hooch! Not sure how they're going to catch the 7.45 school bus next week.

Bloody teenagers (23 yr olds etc) - using up all the butter milk and eggs, interrupting my champagne fuelled comedown.

Thought I was taking E. but was full of beer cocktails and poppers! Was in a gay club. Ended up inspecting the glory hole and congratulating them on their washable surfaces

Good sexual health / drug harm reduction is part of my day job.

Missed out on the rave scene 1st time and aside from coke have only ever had mdma which I hated, felt so out of control and next day was so ill and sick- never again! MrD has lived through it all and a bit like Peter Pan refuses to grow up!

great review of don dusty ! I love mdma and could live on it. Never took Coke much until three years ago when a school mum laid it on tap. Worst scenario ever.

I've tried a lot of party drugs but nothing has got a grip on me like coke. It crept up on me really but I'd say within months of trying it, I was hooked. I'd put E and coke in the same category really but E never gave me a compulsion to use more and more, and keep using even when the consequences are quite dire.

Ponz your job sounds really interesting. As does your gay club night . It's so easy to make a reckless decision when you're three sheets to the wind on cocktails. I know I have.

Fell off the secobd surfboard today (smoking) just cant get the hang of it. Its not like a fag i spend all day with it glued to me.

Although have done better have only had 1 and it chilled me out loads i wonder if its just going on the back and sitting with a fag in the dark and quiet whereas with the vape i can smoke it anywhere.

ponz that sounds really horrific hope you are okay. I never really got on with any other drug apart from coke as I hate feeling out of control but coke makes me feel so in control and interesting and witty but i just talk shite, ive only smoked weed a couple of times because i dont feel in control even with that. I had MDMA at a nightclub once and convinced myself I was dying the next day its truly horrible so lots of to you.

I know what you mean, smoking for me is all tied up in my routine, it's a bit like 5 mins peace from the world. Last time I tried to quit I felt all spaced out and couldn't think straight so well done for getting this far.

Good use of "the money" Cleaning It's absurd that I'm shocked at you spending that much on hand cream when I wouldn't flinch spending it on a White Pony. Very illogical
