That sounds like a lovely age appropriate Wink way to spend your birthday. Wine
Being in your 40's is not considered old these days. Don't worry.

Having said that, I have a really bad headache down my face so I'm giving up on today and going to bed like an 80 year old pensioner with a sore head!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 25/04/2017 20:52

Yes Camden Palace, The Ministry and The club under Vauxhall bridge (can't remember name) Sweaty hug for Hooch Smile

HoochiMama · 25/04/2017 20:58

Hope you feel better soon Lost. I will spend the rest of the evening trying to remember the name of that club under the bridge. Not easy when you have age appropriate memory loss possibly accelerated by over zealous drug use Confused

ponzusoup · 25/04/2017 21:17

Anyone remember substation? The cross? Return to the source?

I'm
Right behind you with the 48. Four months to go.

Wondering if I'll finally grow up.

Having a second night off the booze which is nearly killing me.

Dreaming of a buzz.

Curry out tomorrow so def booze then. Might go to bed so it's all a bit nearer.

ponzusoup · 25/04/2017 21:19

Hooch I've just given up trying to remember names of clubs. Mixture of menopausal alcohol substance related dementia kids age and fuck knows what else !!!!!!

HoochiMama · 25/04/2017 21:37

Def remember The Cross and Return to the Source rings a distant bell...

Ponzu you have summed it all up perfectly, glad I'm not the only person of a certain age. Don't think I'll ever grow up properly! Maybe we'll all end up in the Surfers nursing home Confused

CleaningLikeAMotherFucker · 25/04/2017 22:02

Poking my head out from under my duvet to say... I remember the Fridge and Mass across the road.. there was a bar in the crypt if I remember correctly too.

Happy birthday hooch.

Feeling very vommy here. My sick leave straight after a two week holiday is going down like a lead balloon at work Grin

HoochiMama · 25/04/2017 22:08

Thanks Cleaning Smile** Sorry you're not feeling well, hope you get better soon.

Oh yes I remember the crypt too!

Inarightpickleandchutney · 25/04/2017 22:23

Was it bagleys at Kings cross?

HoochiMama · 25/04/2017 22:47

Yes Pickle!

Inarightpickleandchutney · 25/04/2017 23:08

Omg! The com made several trips there! I remember seeing ratpack there, and Nicky black market, and bukem before he was well famous.
Good times, we probably shared a convo about hair or something in the ladies Grin
Hideous drive home mind x

Inarightpickleandchutney · 25/04/2017 23:10

Yeah the com is my first car, she's about 30 now, vintage with dinner plate steering wheel.
6 people and one in footwell down the m3 was one of my fondest memories

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 26/04/2017 08:13

Your car must have lots of memories, Pickle. I think that was me in the footwell, thanks for the lift.. Grin
The club in Vauxhall was Strawberry sundae at Cloud nine, how could I forget that name!

The terrible headache has gone. I think my sinuses are trying to tell me something. "This is not what we're designed for" probably. Hope you're feeling better, Cleaning.

Have a great Wednesday surfers x

ponzusoup · 26/04/2017 08:26

Happy Wednesday surfers. About to launch into a day of home admin and sorting. No work today.

serialtester · 26/04/2017 19:29

Hello everyone! I have memories of being in the foot well of a COM in the early 90's! Is it a rite of passage?!

OP posts:
ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 26/04/2017 20:16

Yep you haven't lived until you've travelled in a footwell.. Grin

Hope you got all your home sorted and are now enjoying your curry, Ponzu.
I had a day off too. I've had my 2 little nieces all day and I'm shattered! I'd kill for a line but making do with a couple of glasses of vino. Bonjour.

serialtester · 26/04/2017 21:34

ponzusoup · 27/04/2017 15:12

Hungover and had a work meeting. Got four kids after school could do with a nap

Strength to all those with Thursday hangovers

serialtester · 27/04/2017 17:00

I had 2 meetings this morning. Was a bit kill or cure!

OP posts:
ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 27/04/2017 17:26

I had 4 meetings.. ha ha not really, quite an easy day at work for me.

Hope everyone is feeling a little better. Still on course for a clean week here on the old surfboard. Was feeling really sorry for myself last night with cravings after the wine but managed to resist. Sorry about my woe is me drunken message last night. Blush

Hope this strength continues tomorrow in the Danger ZooonnnneeeEE.

DustyDuck · 27/04/2017 17:49

Uh-oh, another bank holiday danger zone! Thinking I might resist until at least...Sunday?

ponzusoup · 27/04/2017 17:58

Well I haven't bloody got any or any means of getting any. Whilst I know this should be viewed as a blessing I am struggling with that.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 27/04/2017 18:08

Well done Ponzu that's excellent news, although I'm sure it doesn't feel like it. Confused Serial and Pickle have assured me that cravings do die down after a while clean so hang in there. I'm renaming you The Ponz if you can style a whole week out Grin.

Choppy waters approaching as we head towards the bank holiday weekend. I'm feeling resolute at the moment but that can all change like the wind in the world of Lost.
I've drunk far too much coffee today and smoked too much though. Hey ho, one addiction at a time I suppose.

serialtester · 27/04/2017 18:12

I too have smoked like a bastard today!
