I'm not going to touch vodka as then it will be game over. I'm kind of ostricizing myself if that's the correct spelling they are playing cards at the dining table and I'm sitting on the couch watching tv. I could resist but feeling like I don't want to. My problem is I put off for hours and hours so when I do eventually cave it's late and I think that contributes to the late night/early morning bedtime.

Hello all, may I please join? Been lurking since day 1, I'm also a weekend user and only with DP who introduced me to it a few years ago. I'm trying not to want it every weekend and this is first one this year where there's no party, birthday or fun pub night so I've said let's not. I have willpower up to a certain point but DP really doesn't.

I guess I don't want to think I'm missing out, or that he's doing it in his own, so joining in somehow feels right at the time. I also have no one else that knows we do this, apart from other people who do, iyswim. Have to invent new allergies all the time as I get a runny nose for days....

Ah, love you lot, we all just get each other, no judgement or condemnation, it's a constant struggle to say no if it's there in front of us, or make that call, text or whatever to get hold of the damn stuff. Just a while ago, as in a few months back, I was at a house with the biggest silver tray loaded up with coke i have ever seen, knew everyone I was with but a few weeks later one of the guys was arrested and is currently doing a 7 year stretch, apparently that night I was there he had over a million quids worth of pure stashed at the house we were in and we could have all been busted had a raid happened that night, turned out the guy who is now in prison had been under surveillance for a while as big player, I have been to visit him in prison as feel we're all culpable, sometimes you forget that there are consequences, think we take that for granted at times as we're a bit desensitised to the legalities

Hi all hope you're doing ok - I've had a lovely evening at my friends and am tucked up in bed. We shared 3 bottles of wine and I'm rather tipsy, which is a bit disconcerting considering the amount I usually put away but am putting it down to the relaxed environment.
