I love the Vaishaly cleansing balm but like eve lom too.

Threading just gives a very sharp shape and I use the blink brow pencil which is very good too. Does make a big difference and I don't have bushy eyebrows at all.

Bonsoir · 15/05/2010 16:07

I like the cutesy packaging. Make up is supposed to be a toy fun. Agree Clinique is dullissimo.

Did I mention I am going to Caudalie spa for a whole week in July?

WhatsAllThisThen · 15/05/2010 16:07

I love lancome! Best mascara.

Used to love Stila but can no longer find.

bluebump · 15/05/2010 16:07

St Tropez face fake tan is pretty good.

Lots of Benefit bashing on here but I swear by their Dandelion powder for making me look human. I need to find a cheaper alternative as mine is running out thanks to DS finding it and playing with it.

I need recommendations for a good mascara to make my lashes nice and thick...any suggestions?

DavidHameron · 15/05/2010 16:07

"Pore perfecting active mousse".

SuSylvester · 15/05/2010 16:08

wasnt stila part of some bigger firm?
someone posted a link to some bargain stuff on another site once recently

a WEEK at a spa????

traceybath · 15/05/2010 16:08

A whole week Bonsoir - wow! With dd?

Bonsoir · 15/05/2010 16:08

Yes, what has happened to Stila? That used to be my make-up of choice - Jane lipstick RIP...

Celery · 15/05/2010 16:09

msboogie, I think as skin gets older, a lot of women look better with a decent tinted moisturiser and concealer, rather than full on foundation.

I am 35 and beginning to age. I also have the added bonus of oily skin. I cannot find a foundation I'm satisfied with, and I've tried many, cheap and expensive. I'm settling on concealer, tinted moisturiser and a dusting of mineral powder.

Anything else either makes me look cakey and old, or slides right off my face because of the oil.

SuSylvester · 15/05/2010 16:09

you must need it

WhatsAllThisThen · 15/05/2010 16:09

I recommend St. Tropz everyday, I can build up a nice tan in 3-4 days, not streaky and no need for gloves etc, I find it much easier than the normal St. Tropez

WTF is a mineral powder?? Am I missing something?

I bought Clarins Everlasting foundation because they discontinued my previous one, and although it feels nice I dont think its doing me any favours in the looks department. I look kinda grey most days even with foundation and powder and touche eclat.

janeite · 15/05/2010 16:10

Mac Shale is a lovely eyeshadow colour - part grey, part lilac but I know that Su is already on to it.

Urban Decay Primer Potion for eyes is brilliant and quite cheap.

I am v tempted by the new Clarins Everlasting foundation - anybody tried it?

Oh and does anybody use Origins Pinch My Cheeks?

Lancome eyeliners a re good - lovely and soft. I like the Clinique ones too, the ones that turn to powder at the other end.

Celery · 15/05/2010 16:10

Bits of Benefit are good. I like their concealers and their blushers. I use Coralista. The packaging's not too twee, and it lasts forever.

WhatsAllThisThen · 15/05/2010 16:10

Are they rebuilding you from scratch Bonsoir?

janeite · 15/05/2010 16:10

Cross posts Moss!

DavidHameron · 15/05/2010 16:11

I really do love the L'oreal mineral make up though (and am VV old). As long as you only put a tiny bit on and work at it, it isn't cakey.

And it lasts all bloody day (and night if you forget), doesn't sink into pores, doesn't go flakey

I'm fully expecting to return at least 7 years younger - one day of treatments = one year off (or something)!

Bonsoir · 15/05/2010 16:12

My DP has already been to Caudalie spa, without me , on a work trip. He'll cope just fine!

WhatsAllThisThen · 15/05/2010 16:12

Your DP is spending a week at a spa??

My DH needs to be reminded to have a shower!

Does your DP have a brother?

SuSylvester · 15/05/2010 16:12
