Boots No7 Hand Saviour is good.
Its a scrub and moisturiser in one, leaves hands so soft.

aquavit · 15/01/2010 09:44

AdelaideJo - I use this from Boots and when it's used up I really want this from Neal's Yard

HerMomminess · 15/01/2010 09:54

Ok: big vote for exercise. After this thread's inspiration I have managed exercise 2 evenings in a row. This morning just after rinsing face and bit of day cream DH said: 'You' re looking great'.

It might be the first stint of uninterrupted sleep of course but hey ho.

Now also have hand cream at every possible point in the house!

AdelaideJo · 15/01/2010 11:08

Oooo mammoth excitement here about buying some facial oil .

Now I just need to stop feeling so generally lousy (26 weeks preggars)!

Jolene2 · 17/01/2010 20:14

OOh, I love the sound of that Neal's Yard orange oil.

Any possible advice for following problem gratefully received... I had some eszema on my face and put some aqueous cream on it which I reacted to violently and now look like I've been scrubbing my face with sand paper. Anyone else had a reaction like this to something apparently fairly harmless? if so, how did you deal with it (other than a paperbag on the head which is what i'm contemplating...)

HerMomminess · 17/01/2010 21:19

sanctuary salt scrub purchased.

Another run(rather ice skating round here) hopefully giving a glow.

FrameyMcFrame · 17/01/2010 22:03

loads more sleep

BlueKangerooWonders · 17/01/2010 22:05

Jolene - I had the same reaction to dd's acqueous cream. Assumed it was the perfume in it. I just kept right away from it after that... (me and her). But reaction did go down the next day, and went completely after a few days.

Pannacotta · 17/01/2010 22:13

katy1katy I like the sound of your "regime".
Is this the M&S balm you mean?

Thank you, ladies. Seems I may be allergic to the paraffin in it as I had something similar a few years back and that was the common ingredient so will likewise be chucking it out! Doctor has prescribed 2 different creams and will refer me to dermatologist if no better in a couple of weeks.

Will be purchasing anti histimines when I pop out before school run, thanks for that suggestion. Someone has also suggested the Weleda Almond range for v sensitive skin

Given my face has to be left alone for the time being (will be getting a paperbag so I don't frighten small children) I will be concentrating on the bodycare recommendations for now and getting some of that salt scrub that's won so much of your praise.

Thanks all
