sequins.. Anyone else ventured near the sequinned leggings?

Alas these not been as successful as me jeggings. I've chaffed the sequins off the inner thigh. Only worn twice

PVish · 02/10/2009 19:54

i SO SO want sequin leggings too
imo as long as everything else is plain - whats not to like - if oyu legs are good

pointydoug · 02/10/2009 19:56

no no

herjazz · 02/10/2009 20:02

my legs not bad if you frame me few inches below inner leg

the h & m ones look quite good. Cheaper than ones I got which look like tat now (don't think they're the best thing to wear to get very drunk and dance like a twat in)

badgermonkey · 02/10/2009 20:03

I love mine! Wore them out with a long t-shirt, boyfriend blazer and really high slingback platforms and I was rocking that look.

PVish · 02/10/2009 20:11

"I was rocking that look"

pointydoug · 02/10/2009 20:13

PV, were you not rocking then?

SixtyFootDoll · 02/10/2009 20:16

I am 38
and have a pair which
I wear with long jumper and ankle boots
I am a good size 12 with toned but not skinny legs
I look OK
But I dont care, they are comfy!!

Caz10 · 02/10/2009 20:25

OK, so if you were to venture near a pair...which are best?

mooseloose · 02/10/2009 20:25

JamInMyWellies · 02/10/2009 20:34

DrZeus · 02/10/2009 20:39

The Tesco one are bl**dy awful. I got some this week and I'm forever trying to yank them up. Waste of time!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 02/10/2009 20:43

noddyholder · 02/10/2009 20:48

If you have toned bum and thighs you can wear them with shorter tops leggings might need long but jeggings don't!If you don't wobble sequins are great you can wear with white vest grey long cardie and ankle boots Lovely!

EccentricaGallumbits · 02/10/2009 20:50

No. they are fecking horrible even on the skinny.

PenguinProject · 02/10/2009 20:51

Leggings - Yes.
Jeans - Yes.
Jeggings - No, no, no. I promise that this time next year you will look at a picture of yourself wearing them and as you try to destroy the photo will be asking yourself "What the hell was I thinking, I should have listened to PP."

blithedance · 02/10/2009 20:57

Weren't these around about 15 years ago? BHS never stopped selling them.

LyraSilvertongue · 02/10/2009 21:10

No, no and thrice no.
Hideous things.

CrankOfTheScrew · 02/10/2009 21:38

Good god alive no!

Although under a dress they wouldn't be so bulky.

When I see whippersnappers in them, I just think they've forgotten to put their skirt on, silly things!

Foxinsox2 · 02/10/2009 22:11

JEGGINGS ARE VILE. NO! NO! NO!

Monkeytrews · 02/10/2009 22:25

frakkinpannikin · 02/10/2009 22:29
