Fly London bargain!!!

Someone please take advantage of this obvious misprint on the Office website.

I checked and it does stay at £40 when you add it to your basket. No idea whether it will get all the way through the process, but it is worth a try. I have a pair already, so it is no use for me.

So I'm dithering about buying these at full proce

am worried about the calf width.

is there someone out there who can just fit into a 5 that can tell me how big their calf is at the widest point?

Obviously I've had a quick look on ebay to see if any of you lot have put them on there to make a profit ; there a few for £115 inc postage (I guess a trader as they all look same listing, didnt bother to click on), and some that look the same called camel, £109. If anyone's interested . Oh and there's lots of patent ones, yuck. And some of those nice shoer biker ones that someone linked to on this thread, used though, currently 21.90.

Incidentally I looked on the Fly London website and there is ONE kind of dark brown Mol boot listed.

I am not a conspiracy theorist when it doesn't involve shoes () but ...

Well the news is that I was in John Lewis today, browsing the boots (as you do ), and saw some Fly ones. I wanted to have a look at the calf ones, but as I was looking, I saw the Mol ones and thought perhaps they would fit my legs. I assumed they wouldn't because all my boots that fit me at home have a circumference of 39-40cm, as opposed to 35.5.

So anyway I tried a pair on, and lo and behold, they are fine! I think it's because the zip doesn't go all the way up. It's snug, and if the zip went further up, I wouldn't be able to do them up, but as it is they fit and are v comfortable!

I haven't responded to my email offering 20% off yet, and wasn't going to, but now they fit me anyway the lawyer in DH thinks I should kick up a bit of a stink about it. I don't think I'm going to though. I do need a black pair really anyway, not dark brown, so I think I'm going to buy a black pair with the 20% off.

I got the cancellation too which is a blessing really as I'd already received my full price brown ones and had discovered that the 8s are too small. So this saves me the hassle of sending TWO pairs of boots back.

Got the 20% off code though ... must see if there's anything worth having. In a 9!!!

shopalot at the bottom of my e-mail i=there is a blurb with the 20% code beside it, might be worth checking with office?

I am sad, I was really hoping I might get a pair, sigh.

Office are taking the piss. Probably a ploy to get you all on there. My £85 pair arrived today from Amazon and they are gorgeous.

Yep - I'm not happy with them and have emailed a complaint, they took long enough to cancel the first orders and readvertising them is taking the piss, not a happy bunny. I agree it is probably an advertising ploy which is really shitty. Wonder how Fly London would feel about their supplier treating customers this way!

i phoned customer services, who were very polite. said they are trying to source the boots from a store and will email me when they are available. keeping fngers crossed
