I checked and it does stay at £40 when you add it to your basket. No idea whether it will get all the way through the process, but it is worth a try. I have a pair already, so it is no use for me.

Have had an email from Office saying that boots have been despatched - but doesn't specify the colour . Since I ordered the £125 browns and the £40 blacks, i am thinking it's prob the browns.....

No, actually I don't think it does. The price is an "offer to treat" and they can withdraw it at any time. It used to be the case that they had to sell at the marked price but that changed a while ago IIRC.

TBH, I'm not surprised the stock levels weren't accurate given the amount of people who rushed to order at that ridiculous price.

Mine are a 7 and fit perfectly (might have to tighten the buckle a notch though )

they didn't look distressed until the puppy had a chew on the toe but were clearly returns as all the stuffing was loose in the box.

I'd agree with Soupdragon that the leather isn't distressed (although mine didn't look like returns they seem in perfect nick)
I don't think there is any difference between these and the dk brown ones at full price the box had two stickers one saying MOL DK BROWN the othe DK BROWN RUG

Got mine today - fell in love with them immediatly - lovely colour, smell so comfy on the foot then.......... i almost cried because clearly they are made for people with calves like bamboo sticks because mine owuldnt fasten and certainly wouldnt over trousers. Gutted . Anyone got any size 7's to swap or thnk the 7's would be any better? I would love to swap for a 7 and failing that someone at work wants first dabs on them.

Oh sorry you will have to calm down alot now because i was showing my neighbour them who assured me they could fasten and by sure stealth and determination she squeezed my leg in and fastened them both - at the time i was wearign shorts about to mow the lawn with a t shirt as its v hot today so looked a sight for sore eyes!! Anyway apparently leather boots im told are made to be tight on calves because leather gives alot so if i wear them and perhaps spray with water if need be they will stretch and they will be wearbale and wide so for the time being i am wearing them in , so if your didnt fit give it a whirl..... I love them and am nearly happy again

I had a cancellation last night, due to 'limited stock availability'. I notice from their website that both brown and black options are in fact in stock in my size so that's obviously rubbish.

However as I know they won't fit me anyway thanks to Lulu providing measurements, I am not going to get up in arms at them, and will accept graciously the 20% discount they have offered me as a 'sorry'.

Does anyone know anything about the calf-high ones, are they very snug as well? I like them but don't want to end up with muffin top legs...
