Is it all calm in here BALD?

My waist is out of proportion to my bum, will these jeans be ok d'ya think?

Any links?

Goober · 10/01/2009 20:42

Which ones?
??????

Oovavu · 10/01/2009 20:43

isn't it only women who want tiny bums though? men like them round and bootylicious.
where are the jeans that flatten your jelly belly and get rid of your camels toe?

girlandboy · 10/01/2009 20:44

Ha! Bought some yesterday as a matter of fact.

Think I look rather trim in them!

thisisyesterday · 10/01/2009 20:44

haha yes it's true. i have some. i have never admitted it though because I didn't want people to know i shop in m&s! lol

thisisyesterday · 10/01/2009 20:45

oovavu... m&s still! what I found was that I need the ones that are cut ON the waist. not hipster crap that gives ytou muffin top.

if they come high enough up they cover up that bit of flab from having kids and flatten it a bit.
they're really fab

BoysAreLikeDogs · 10/01/2009 20:45

They are cut to sit on natural waistline so all flab inside not hanging over top

very clever cut here they are

I'm with oovavu - my dh and I are rather fond of my rounded rear. A pair of jeans that get rid of my jelly belly would be most welcome.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 10/01/2009 20:47

We must all be flabtastic !

No honestly girls these are amazing.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept, is to try some and report back.

Ahhh but when you have a flat arse, with loads of ummm 'acreage' then anything to small the erm apperance of said acres is in my eyes a most marvellous thing

I got a pair like that from M&S a couple of years ago. Someone there understood that almost all mothers (and many other women) need jeans to act as corset for their tummies!

And they do short length. Bless them, may they live long and prosper.

Oovavu · 10/01/2009 20:49

oo yes we like waistline jeans. wil, give them a try then. I need some black ones

BoysAreLikeDogs · 10/01/2009 20:51

yay

CatMandu · 10/01/2009 20:51

OK am convinced and have order them!

ComeOVeneer · 10/01/2009 20:52

I come in peace, can't resist a good pair of jeans (COV waves a white flag).

Oovavu · 10/01/2009 20:52

i will laugh my norks off if they work. woman at work bought some designer jeans that are sposed to do this - they cost her £125!!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 10/01/2009 20:53

Oh Cov bless your heart.

yep i went on jeans-hunt with my friend and was trying on gazillions of expensive pairs all of which made me look shit.

said friend kept saying to me "honestly, try m&s, that's where I got mine."
i went reluctantly in the end and had to grovel my apologies to her because she was right!

onepieceofbrusselssprout · 10/01/2009 20:58

Ime M&S jeans don't fade as fast as other brands.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 10/01/2009 20:59

This is the style in case anyone missed my link earlier

I cannot vouch for any other style made by Marks

They look very dark. Are they not a bit square? (I'm soooo 80's)

girlandboy · 10/01/2009 21:03

There's 3 different shades!

thisisyesterday · 10/01/2009 21:03

they are quite dark.
there are some others thoufgh, I have one of the £19.50 pairs as well which is also lovely.
so it's worth having a look in store I reckon.

they're all labelled very well I found, so you can choose the on the waist ones lol

BoysAreLikeDogs · 10/01/2009 21:06

Trust me

Or at least humour me

Try them on

Then decide

I agree tis a horrid pic, I really only put it uop to show that it is just these, not any others.

I got some a while ago and got lots of compliments about "being back in jeans" a few weeks after having DD2. Actually they were holding me together!
